Other than his towering feature you could never guess that he was so polite and soft spoken away from the cameras... He was taken too soon but his legacy lives on in his hometown in Hinagu; as a boy from a small bamboo village no one's ever heard of who was so determined to chase his dreams and came back winning. I'm so happy that his dad got to see him succeed, and no matter how much his mom complained about his line of work, every time he came home she only saw her son, a boy back from his adventures full of stories and experiences, not a fighter. They were proud of him... SO proud... We all are.
That's amazing, thank you for sharing that. When I walked into Korakuen Hall, I felt a bit of sadness, as it reminded me of Hayabusa's last match and his first steps. He was one of the best, he will never be forgotten!

I never got to see Hayabusa, but was lucky enough to be at WWF Raw Is War on August 3rd, 1998, where Steve Austin & The Undertaker wrestled The Rock & Owen Hart in the main event.
