It was a sad, sad day when Hayabusa passed away. He was probably my favorite wrestler in all of FMW.
It was also a sad day when Eddie Guerrero died too I cried for days in 2005

Wrestlers come and go. Talents show up, put on amazing shows and capture you for a time. And then you have people who come to us like Hayabusa and the late great Eddy Guerrero.
For the rest of this, I will focus on Hayabusa. A man who truly embodied all that was great about the sport of wrestling. A man whose matches told a story. Whose matches you couldn't look away from. I will go back to matches of Hayabusa and to me that was wrestling at its pinnacle.
One of the best ever. Its tragic how your career was cut short. Even though you have passed on you will fly forever in the hearts of true wrestling fans everywhere

Fuck that 2nd rope y'all. If it wasn't for that (at least that's what I believed back in 2001), then we'd be seeing the greatest out of this "out of this world" high flying athlete in Hayabusa. I'm glad that Will Ospreay donned the Hayabusa Outfit with the blessing from his daughter and the original creator of the mask and outfit. Truly an amazing wrestler back in the day. Surely, he will be missed for the longest time possible.
RIP Hayabusa, you and Jinsei Shinzaki we're a tandem worth watching.
I remember that video of him getting into the ring and standing up wearing the mask had me damn near sobbing. He was one of my favorite wrestlers and in inspiration to always overcoming adversity.

Man now I wish I could have seen Hayabusa wrestle. I bet his entrance was as cool as Jinsei Shinzaki or better known as Hakushi.
For whatever reason FMW once got HBK Shawn Michaels for one of their events but didn't book him against The Phoenix. Talked about missed opportunity for one of the greatest match in the lifetime.
That was in 1999 when he wasn't wrestling.
