its totally incorrect. heat is made when air is compressed. their is no compression before supercharger only vacuum. it needs to be cooled while pressurized so the parts that mount to the engine don't heat soak. absolutely useless design here. when did u ever c an intercooler before with vacuum in it...never
doesnt an expansion pipe already supercharge the cylinder. that contraption is just a horsepower parasite on the engine that will rattle loose. a larger cc engine would be better.
Stopped the video at "intercooler airbox" So, that cool air drawn in through the air filter is going to be cooled even further by a box of aluminium that's almost certainly going to be hotter than the surrounding air? Not to mention the "inter" part of the word "intercooler" - It's situated between the compressor (turbo or supercharger) and the cylinder, not between air filter and carburettor.
There is an isolator between the carb and engine to keep the carb cool, so it does have a cooling property. You are right about it not being a true intercooler, as it is much closely associated with a cold air intake. My guess is by calling it an intercooler is a marketing gimmick.
OMG! Lol there was a guy at the local park where we all go to bash....he had this “super charger” on his losi.....couldn’t stop talking about it. His next investment should be a garbage bag to put it into!
I agree. It sounds cool in theory, but it looks like a whole lot of drag on the drive line for whatever forced air you might push with that little impeller.
Mat Keys No point in explaining them that 2 stroke needs back pressure from pipe so gas doesn't burn in pipe and forcing the mixure only makes it worse.. Gotta love those "you get a 30% boost" cooments - worse than religion.
Well 2 stroke needs a pulse in time to the port timing. So yes no exhaust and half your power is going out the exhaust. Thats why a properly made pipe will make a bike quick. All to do with scavenging
This is why I never hear many ppl talk about ordering rb innovations parts for their models prices are super high and some of it sounds like straight bologna
ok, where are the G's that know what's really going on, 2 words: DETROIT DIESEL.... On a two stroke, anything mechanically pushing air into the motor is an ASPIRATOR, and the only instances that one is any real benefit is on a motor installed or designed for tight spaces with no rammed air or even large enough intake. The reason it works for the old 53 and 71 series Detroits is because at the compression ratios and displacement of that scale, forced induction is required to get enough air to keep up with demand- its the resistance of the entire motor that allows any pressure to be built. To build an efficient diesel that is naturally aspirated would require a design much larger in cylinder spacing in order to allow enough room for intake volume and flow. on a small gas motor? on ANY gas motor? Much more practical to get a quality port job done with a matched pipe to suit your needs. Leave forced induction for the valved engines that can actually build the pressure because of the VALVES. 2 strokes: pipe, ports, fuel, and water cooling are where the most gains can be had- if done right..... but wtf do i know? check my logic
Thank you for sharing this garbage with me Another company I’ll never support. Btw. No one ever talks about yr firm on the rc forums. And when they do. They get shot down in flames You guys have solid street cred Not
Do they not understand how the 2 stroke engine works lmao. Supercharger won’t do anything on a 2 stroke engine except lean it out with no power gains lol
Good for smaller engines with moded/ported carbs from bigger engines.........if it wasn't a 2 stroke. Would be great if the gas motor was converted to run Nitro methane and had a large volume of fuel being dumped directly into the cylinder.
RB Innovations. Putting an 'intercooler' between an air filter and a carb is definitely innovative. I don't think that has ever been done before.

Rb I wanna see how fast it goes on racing asphalt before I buy it
Are you kidding me? Carbed 2 stroke supercharger? All this will do is make it run super lean!
como faz para adquirir esse turbocharge para meu baja? consegue enviar aqui para o Brasil? qual o valor?
u could adapt no problem mate is what i did on mine works fine
Could this work on a gooed
Wow!so cool!
Superchargers do not work on 2 strokes
Can we see and hear it running with the supercharger?
Do I need a puller tool with the old clutch plate or does this kit come with one? And does the Rampage MT need special linkage for the carburetor?
can you use this on a fg and if so i have a oneel brothers reedvaulve intake on my motor with this still work or will i have to remove the intake?
A flow bench would be cool. You know to show how much air it moves.
Can you guys stick a Supercharger on a HPI 5.9??
dose it has enough power to power a bike?
OMG! Lol there was a guy at the local park where we all go to bash....he had this “super charger” on his losi.....couldn’t stop talking about it. His next investment should be a garbage bag to put it into!
but does it run minecraft?
that is not a supercharger but a fan
🔝
is it me or does that look like a massive gimmick?

Stephen Hayman It actually gives you about a 30% power increase, there is dyno testvideos
Have they actually got boost pressure figures? I guess if the power it adds is more than the power is draws from drag then it would be a benifet.

Hey guys, does it work with hobbyking motors? would be fine ;)
Need more electric products

Air boooox
cool
it's so cutee
The day there is a turbo kit for the fifth scales...
lmao dynamically balanced plastic parts

Not
WTF is this? This cant work it's a 2 stroke engine!
I'll get one and let you know.

bobs slightly red eyed again
SCAMMER !!!
Air booox
