I have a picture with Bobby Kimball when he came to Concepción Chile... a great and very humble man :) ..he spent some time with the fans after the show :D ..Toto is great!!!!
It's good. LOVE Chinatown, 21st Century Blues. . .really, the whole disc is good. But FIB had a kick up the ass aspect, speaking for myself. And, even with the passage of years, most of the lyrical content on FIB can be applied to today's times.
I had heard somewhere that their level of dedication to the music was such that the Toto bandmembers would rehearse until the early hours of the morning AFTER playing a show.
I was friends with Bobby and worked for him. Shot Toto. In Atlanta we rehearsed from noon til close to six that night. Orchestra left at 3:30.back at 8 for the show and then the after party. These guys are the most talented musicians I’ve ever worked with or shot. It’s not work to them, that’s just who they are. I’m pretty sure if they didn’t have a gig they’ll still be jamming all day, which is why they are the best! ❤
So hard to follow the personnel changes, especially Bobby, who was integral to the sound before stupidly getting stupid, and back again for awhile before, what? Getting fired again?
Unfortunately Bobby was never consistent in the studio or live. I love Joseph but yeah Bobby had that high tenor screamer thing down. Undisciplined sadly.
@jgmiller804 Don't See the point in ragging on Bobby Kimball because Sammy Hagar, Lou Gramm, Steve Perry and Peter Cetera in their prime were NOT or ever technically. trained singers . Kimball did as they did 👉 He lived in the moment and went for it. He still the best singer Toto had because of that.
✌As long as Steve Lukather and David Paich keep the love for TOTO alive, my love for this unique band will be even deeper and stronger.✌🥰♥️
Yes. Toto´s departure is a great loss. Excellent musicians and music.
Je vous salut bien bas Mr David Paich le maestro et le guide du
groupe (Toto ).

it's a miracle, I tells ya
Wouldn't be the 1st time. They actually performed together when they toured Toto XX. There's a recording and everything
@Fnord Fnordington Are you responding to me or someone else?
