+FoodBaby69 francis has more power than ben. it sounded "forced" with ben. maybe it was good on record but not particularly good live. i mean don't get me wrong. i love the stuff with ben (first two albums are "true" FATA) but if you re saying ben should come back then it would be only fair mentioning scott gross who was the original guitarist. he was a massive important part in the songwriting of the first two records.
they both sound pretty similar, but I do prefer Ben , he's the OG singer on a few albums.....but I saw them in the late 90's when Too Bad Youre Beautiful came out it was on printed computer pater the whole booklet, wish I hadn't had all my albums stolen had around 500..anyway Ben didn't sing I remember the drummer was the one who did the singing while ben was in the band
when I was 15, the local record shop was giving a ticket to their show with a CD purchase. My girlfriend & buddy also bought it so we could go. but it was in a "bad neighborhood" so I wasn't allowed to see my favorite band. a couple years later I bought tickets, and wasn't allowed to go due to my poor grades in school. then the band broke up. many years later, their first reunion show was down the street from me. I bought two tix, gave one to a guy I met outside who needed one, and had the time of my fucking life. I am dead center, against the stage. Meeting Fran after, the dude I gave the ticket to was a photographer & sent me the pic of arguably the most genuine smile to ever cross my face. This was an amazing show to attend. Shoutout Hawthorne as well!
To my favorite band, please come back & come to Arizona. This is the only band left that i ever want to see live!!! It would make me the happiest person ever
Man this made my day!!!! Nice to see them have so much energy up there and not just phone it in like some bands do! For a band who haven't played together for years they nailed it!!
@@rpgkum3r69 I saw them when I was 15 at the fox theater in Detroit. First even and still to this day favorite metal show. 2003 2004 can't remember but I've still got the ticket somewhere.
It's awesome to see them back rocking out. I remember being 16 and following them all over New England. Ben and Scott had some crazy energy, I miss that line-up. They cranked out some noise, great times, great memories... :)
This is amazing. I was bummed I could see them this night so my friend and I drove all the way to Philly to watch them. Vanna took over for Hawthorne Heights who couldn't play. Show was amazing but I bet Boston's crowd was better
set is awesome but I wish you would ve recorded the intro. it gives me goosebumps and I have no idea where is it from or it's just a extra composed intro for the reunion.
I love Holding a Wolf by the Ears but that back and forth dynamic that Francis and Ben had is sorely missed by me. The contrasting tones and weaving in and out of each other's lines, ya just can't replicate it solo. It would be cool if they had a 2nd vocalist for Ben's parts on the other albums because Francis is awesome but his screaming is way different than Ben's so it throws off those songs imo
@@Jchillin757 I hear ya, he's not the original lead but he'll always be the "real" singer to me haha even on the early albums he's what set them apart IMO. Cheers dude
@@MrRyanxdavey same to you bud, and I understand, I came of a bit conceited saying not the "real" lead singer. Should have just expressed that I enjoyed their earlier stuff. Take care, my friend
All the constant screaming drowns the music. I’m so happy this genre is dead. There were some decent musicians from this era but Damn the constant screaming gets old real fast.

Hell yeah, dude
Wish I can see them 2023! Fucking amazing band!
The day FATA decided to reunite, another unicorn was born.
At least we saw the unicorn
And they’re also coming back this fall - unicorn twice in one lifetime
Even with the audio quality being just okay, hearing the opening seconds of The After Dinner Payback live still gave me goosebumps.
That's right Jesus, happy Easter, welcome back
This band is so amazing. Will always be.
Oh man, beautiful songs beautiful sound, its melting my heart again ❤
This was actually the first real concert I ever attended.
2019 still loves them
November 2020

2024 and I still keep coming
The sound engineering was fucking outstanding for this show... the guitars sound so clean
Beast...loved when he took over full vocal duties

Got to see these guys twice in STL. I'll be telling my grandkids about those shows too. Absolutely incredible.
I would kill just to hear Pioneers live once in my life
I’d love to just see Fata once.. XD

THAT'S PERFECT AWESOME PERFORMANCE! SO FUCKING DAMN GOOD!!!! :)
One of my absolute favorite bands
Was so awesome finding this tonight. They are such an amazing band. They killed it here.
Francis as a front man was so dope! Ben was fucking sweet too.
What an epic show.
This is a very Boston show. The crowd, the accents when people are talking to Francis and the Red Sox playing in the background lol

Thanks a lot for uploading this! They are better than never!
I ❤ this band! Got to see them 2x before my MS got bad!

Amazing band 👏
100% loved it :) FatA you're the best !
I just wish you didn't get caught up. Can relate, man.
Does anybody know what happened to the original screamer? I love that the drummer took over but I was just curious.
hes a bartender now, in seattle i think, google it, i cant remember where i read that interview
This is what people searching real screamo bands FATA is a good choices
Really fucking good
1:05:07 - so many emotions, such a painfull singing,...
YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!
You re the MOST REACTIVE AND NICE boi in your kinda music . u ok.
Francis may not have that "pretty feminine voice" but he made up for it with passion. :)
That raw voice and passion shaped so many bands even today's ones like Movements
set is awesome but I wish you would ve recorded the intro.
it gives me goosebumps and I have no idea where is it from or it's just a extra composed intro for the reunion.
Yessssss!

Who won the baseball game though?
This singer used to be the drummer right
Correct. He always handled the clean singing but later become frontman and did the screams as well.

Is that Josh on bass?!?
No. The original bassist Mike Pilato. He returned to the band before their breakup back in 2008.
WTF was that ending
Many Carrero on bass?
Milligram Smile was a let down :/
End of the set man. He is Ty-red
Have they changed the lead singer? Are they back? is this really from this year??
+Nocturne Nope, that IS Francis.
Cool. He just looked so different :)
+Nocturne The singer from 8 years ago is gone. Fran did clean vocals and drums. When Ben left he took over all vocal duties
francis was actually the drummer/clean singer on the first three full lengths. he took over the lead vocalist position when ben (the shouter) left.
I love Holding a Wolf by the Ears but that back and forth dynamic that Francis and Ben had is sorely missed by me. The contrasting tones and weaving in and out of each other's lines, ya just can't replicate it solo. Not the real lead singer
But the original clean singer
Fuck that, Holding a Wolf was their best album. The band took off when Fran took over lead duties
