I immediately subbed when I found the first Carlton vid as I was using that body for a Redcat Blackout frankenbuild. And the whole 1k mile jingle bit 😂. Turns out we have a lot in common with the budget spec stuff and I love it. Keep up the good work guys!

If you want a RC to do 1000 miles it needs to be a trx4 .. with a Holmes motor.. 😂 my bronco has been beat to death.over 4years . has Holmes motor, Chinese 25 kg servo , and a metal spur .. everything else and I mean everything is original . It definitely needs new bearings but it's still a good rig.

Yeah man, definitely chopping calories! Maybe make it a 1000 mile before and after for the truck AND the both of you.

I’ve had one of these there ok until you need parts. And I now much prefer the 24th scale ones now

i know it may be a bit late in the game and an obscure thing to track besides mileage, but have you considered logging the amount of electric pixies (aka electricity) it takes to drive carlton 1,000 miles 🎶🎹🎶(theres that noise again) my guess would have to be something like 150-200 battery recharges (depending on the mAh of the battery youd be using)
i think it could be a cool thing to log but thats just me

I've been saying that RC ESCs should have this built in because electric scooters have it shows how far it's been an many times it's been charged etc lots more.. but anyway I just got my Xoss G+ today so yeah I'm gunna be doing this to

I have a modded 4ws 1/8 hsp crawler that I have had for at least 10 years. it gets about 20 miles a year so I guess I am not too far behind you !

Carlton looks tiny until you put it next to Ethan 😂. Spray some wd40 near the bearings and send it.

You should take Carlton apart and look at the gears. It would be interesting to see.

Glad to see the opposite side of Ohio looks just as crappy.
That GPS is doodoo. Mine stopped working after only having been used about 15 minutes. It will never find satellite signal now. Turns out it's a super common problem with them.

Man I'm dying to get out there again.
Hopefully Jeff doesn't see that log across there or he'll climb across it... 😂
After all that water the wheel bearings are probably not happy. Lol
