Ma’am could we use could or could have in place of might/may or may/might have for making past or present/future possible deductions for eg; in a past deduction sentence “he might/may have fallen asleep just now that’s why he didn’t pick up the phone” to “he could have fallen asleep just now that’s why he didn’t pick up the phone” and “he may/might have said so that’s why she isn’t talking” to “he could have said so that’s why she isn’t talking” or “He might have gone to the gym in the morning that’s why he’s tired now” to “he could’ve gone to the gym in the morning that’s why he’s tired now”. And in future deduction as “he might be singing tomorrow” to “he could be singing tomorrow” or “he might be running” to “he could be running” or “he might be going to the gym tomorrow” to “he could be going to the gym tomorrow”.
