france was in germany before germany was into france... just reunite again at the Maginot Line, and needed to surrender because those generals didnt believe the germans passed trough the ardennes in belgium, Belgium forces died waiting for reinforcements that never came
I’m sure the allies could have reached Berlin if they wanted to(there’s ere talks between allies and soviets about Berlin I believe) and in another world the west could have taken it or they and Russia would take half of the city and country each.
yes there was an agreement. However originally Berlin was supposed to be captured by allies by the end of 1944. This could have been very real if operation Market Garden didnt fail...
Eisenhower and Monty would not have stormed the Reichstag. They simply surrounded Berlin and waited a month. These commanders took care of each of their soldiers.
Monty? no forces would be giving to him after hes big failure in the Netherlands... and maybe they cared but dont forget it was the first arrives is the one who end the war... and claimed biggest hero

@@johndelandy9923 Monty was literally given command of both the US 9th and 1st army in the Ardennes and defeated the German attack in the North......
