Victor was always going to be the #1 pick, but he still played a season of professional basketball in Europe in the past year to keep getting better. The top European prospects are just better prepared. They are better coached, they are already acclimated to being professionals and they are more grounded. Of course football is the top sport in Europe, and in France rugby is second to football so being a youth basketball star isn’t that big a deal there, so the kids are well adjusted. This kid will succeed.
He will play 1 good season and will be forgotten 💀
