Very interesting! 😀 I found you by searching YT for beginner knitting for lefties. I am a lefty and I crochet as well, for about 10 yrs now (I picked it up again then, I learned the change and SC when I was 19)
@@nobleknits I'm just learning to knit, and still trying to get the hang of TENSION, my knit stitches look atrocious at the moment 😅 ....but crochet, I have made all kinds of things, from amigurumi to a few bags (cotton yarn), part of a Frank O' Randle pattern (Tides of Change) it's in the WIP tote 🤫, hats, a couple dog sweaters, and a few blankets. I have ADHD (recently found out, which explains a lot LOL) and Blankets kill me, but I have made a few (for my 2 kids, and other friends and family-blankets and baby blankets) right now I am making the Pumpkin Face Throw blanket from Yarnspirations for my son's GF, I'm Hoping to have it done by Halloween, I'm not the fastest crocheter, because I'm such a perfectionist (and I can't sew to save my life, so the faces look like picasso faces sewn on LOL) she Loves Halloween and Fall holidays and does not know I am making it for her 😁 .....one more square to make the bits for and then the real fun begins of joining the 9 squares in black yarn 😬 Sorry for the long reply 😂
I learned knitting from the ladies at my job. A luncheon chat, chew and knit. They were knitting beautiful projects and invited me to join. I watched and practiced with them. Thinking this looks really complicated. But I was so excited and amazed of the final products the ladies were making. I was determined to continue attending and practicing the basic cast on and moved on from there. RUclips was my best friend for practicing. Fast forward the rest is history. I’ve been knitting now for about 7 years snd love it.
Hi Nancy: Thanks for sharing your story. Can't believe your daughter will be 21 and hoping your husband is healing well. I so appreciate all your knowledge and assistance with knitting/crocheting. You were such a big help to me when I started my foundation and I greatly appreciate it! Keep up the great work and enjoy your new home. Best, Margie Rosenberg
Hi Margie, Great to hear from you! I can't believe she'll be 21 either, it seems like yesterday Melanie was babysitting for her and now she's a mom, too. I bet you love being a grandma! Do you still have the foundation? If so, do you take knitting/crochet donations? Thanks for your kind words, the new place is great. We are right on the water in Newport Beach and I've been paddle boarding almost every day.
Thanks so much for sharing your story. It was great to learn about your journey and how you handled adversity. By the way, you didn't mention your class for lefties. I think it's a great idea and I'm trying to convince one of my buddies to try it.

I found you when I was searching for help with various knit stitches. During quarantine my local store and knitting support so I had to go RUclips and the internet for help. Thank you for sharing your inspiring story! Keep up the wonderful work !
Hi Lynn, I'm so happy to provide the knitting help you needed during this time. You may want to check out some of my knitting courses as well! You'll learn a lot and get interesting and fun project ideas: www.nobleknitsu.com/collections
Dear Nancy, I also want to thank you for sharing your story. Listening to your journey deepens my connection to your blogs and site. I’m glad your husband is faring well. I share the challenge of having a husband with health concerns, which has certainly increased during the pandemic. I’m so happy your move has brought your some peace and balance. I’m looking forward to joining your Facebook group. Keep up the good work!
Wow. That is a story! I found you because I’ve wanted to learn to knit for years! I have tried in the past, but being left handed made it very difficult. I could not find anyone, that could show me, the proper way. This was quite some time ago- before the internet and RUclips. I decided it’s time to try again and here you are! I have learned the long tail cast on (from a different channel 😳) but your beginner continental videos are perfect. Of course I still struggle like crazy, but there is light at the end of the tunnel.I will be taking your classes! Thank you. Hope the hubs is feeling better!
Hi Candy, Thank you for your kind words! I'm so glad you have chosen to dive back into knitting. Now that you're learning lefty the proper way, I'm sure your knitting will take off! 😀
I enjoyed listening to your story. I have been following you for about a year trying to learn to knit. It's a slow process. I crochet all the time but want to knit too. Noble U may be the next step in the process thanks to your knowledge and hard work. Thank you for the encouragement I receive watching your tutorials. They are fantastic. Stay well and best wishes on your journey. 👍 💗 👍
Hi Claudette, thank you for your kind words! 🥰Making the jump from crochet to knitting is easy especially if you start off with Continental knitting. It's like crocheting with knitting needles. Have you tried it?
Hi Nancy! I was one of those lucky makers who found your booth and beautiful crochet patterns at Stitches back in the day. Thanks for elevating crochet with your designs.

Thank you so much for sharing your story. I am a knitter and I love it. I had a vision to start a knitting business. I would love to talk with you. Wendy Carr. I knit shawls, blankets. hats and more.
Hi SnowyOwl knitter, Great question! When I found out I was going to be going on QVC, I contacted a yarn company I had been working with for a while. They partnered with me to provide the yarn and allowed us to use their warehouse and staff to pack the kits. When I opened the store, selected yarn brands I was familiar with and knew customers would love. As sales improved, I kept adding more and more yarns to the shop.
Hi Ilo, that's so kind of you to ask. He is doing very well. We just need to be extra careful about keeping him safe during this time because he is at high risk due to his heart health problems. 😷
