I have been listening to Hindustani classical music for the last 50 years, starting with Bhimsen Joshi's concert in Dharwad around 1962-63. Over the years, I have developed a fairly good ear for music. I should like to say that you stand out among the contemporary and relatively new singers. Your rendition reflects a good and practised voice that has matured with regular Riyaz. Your "make-over" must be a personal choice and you are entitled to it given your young age but your music will never need it to reach a larger audience. Best wishes for scaling greater heights in music in the years to come.
