I use Threshold braking and left foot braking (mainly used for FWD)

Braking while turn in to me is what you should do on everyturn it allows for better weight distribution and helps the turn in evem if you dont trial brake instead just lift of the brake keeping a little bit turn in and right when you turn in let off the brake it helps the car districution and keeps close to 100 percent grip the first tiem I did it was an accident but I noticed how well the car turned in and it just felt like I was able to oush harder into the corner with more grip now I make sure to have a tiny bit of braking on turn in then let off if im not going to trail brake and threshold braking came naturally to me I didnt even know I did it all the time now I mostly do trail braking or that slight brake in turn in

Is trail braking, brake turning and brush braking the same thing?

krzemianpl I usually use trail braking to mean something like this:
Hard braking zone, initially braking in a straight line, but continuing to apply some brake pressure through turn in, and possibly almost to the apex. (smooothly balancing braking and turning after a hard braking zone to help rotate the car.) This would be what you call it when you relax brake pressure as you begin turn in, but don't fully release the pedal until the car has rotated and is mid-corner. Brake release is very smooth and gradual.
The way it was described in the video, brush braking would be more like, you're not fully engaging the brakes, you just scrub a little speed with the brakes ("just brush them") just before turn-in (sort of slightly overlapping turn in, but starting just before) to make sure the front of the car has enough load on the tires to turn in without excess understeer, and that you're attacking the corner at the proper speed. This would almost always be a high speed corner that is fairly short (like turn 6 at laguna seca in this video) or a corner where the car doesn't need to be slowed very much on entry but simply lifting off won't do it/would happen too early and waste time.
You could think of this as trail braking, but instead of happening as a transition into a turn after a hard braking zone, just being used to sliiightly slow and rotate the car for a faster corner.
"Brake turning" was referred to as being another way to describe brush braking. (maybe implying a slightly longer brake zone, or a technical section where you never get to fully straighten the car?)
I don't often use the other two terms, personally. (I do them but never had a name for them) But they do sound useful for clarifying certain braking situations that are outside of your typical "brake hard in a straight line, release the brake smoothly and turn in" type braking zones.

Brush braking is basically a weight transfer. Lightly press the brakes before turn in to shift the weight to the front and scrub off a little speed in the process.
Trailbraking is threshold braking till turn in, and then gently letting off the petal as the car starts to turn. Basically the main goal is to continue to lose speed as you turn, while maintaining grip in the front tires...

If you have ever driven a car before maybe start on this video. Maybe even 2-3 after this one.
