The key to playing George Ezra songs (as he plays them) is to establish what tuning he uses to get his wonderful distinctive sound and style. For this song he re-tunes a whole tone from E A D G B E down to D G C F A D and uses chords as if playing in the key of "C". He also makes use of slight chord variations to get a different "colour" tone (for example G add 11). Playing with a Capo on the 3rd fret and using chords as if playing in "G" puts the song in the correct key (Bb) but misses out on those special Ezra guitar sounds.
Please could you draw the strumming pattern so I can remember this telling and showing is not computing in my dyslexic brain I need to see this on paper your video has taught me more in 5 minutes then I have in 4 months of trying to play the guitar I have a basic understanding of chords and stuck on strumming everything goes too fast for me to hear and see to remember even though the pattern repeat I would greatly appreciate this thank you
