Excellent review. Very easy for a "normal" person that is not an audiophile to follow and understand. have the Hexa and EM6L, so the comparisons helped me a lot. I was hoping the Nova would be the "perfect" iem. But i am just going to save my money and keep the em6l for musical enjoyment. Good work and thx for the review!
Since you own them both. Would you say the EM6L is worth spending $20 more than the Hexa? I was thinking of buying one of them. Just not sure the EM6L is worth the extra $20. But since you own both I will definitely listen to what you have to say.
Yoooooo bruhhhh... I miss our old KZ times!!! 😅 The nova is solid for sure. Was it quarks you like? These are a definite upgrade in terms of techs and openess.. takes EQ pretty well too. I lowered my subbass and gain by 1.5dbs to get some texture in the midbass. Cables shouldnt matter as well, i tried graphing with an imp adapter and nothing happened. Join my discord if you like.. :)
Hello how are u? I have the letshuoer s12 pro, i thinking buy the novas, should be worth? I curious to try the sound of those, i ve heard its the same like the moondrop variations. What do you think about? Thx
@@auwefg personally I think I'd go for the Chopin because I think the drivers are a little bit better. The overall tonality is also better for EQ because deduction is always better than addition..hope this helps..😇
I think a headphone comparison is a bit different. As for the Olinas, The Nova isnt that much of an upgrade, but I think Chopin is. The bass is better, mids cleaner, and lesser treble peaks. Thanks for watching! :)
I have the zero reds and really enjoy them, but interested in upgrading. What would you recommend upgrading to? I was debating on the Nova, but reviews ive seen have been very split
I want bassy iem but not basshead mostly for EDM it should be clean + a bit forward vicals for pop and bollywood songs + airy Treble yet smooth for Classical music. A decent to good stage. I want to enjoy music not analyse them. I'm looking between CHOPIN, Em6L & PHEONIXCALl & Performer 5. My budget is 250$.. Hope you can answer.
hexa sounds good but the driver felt like overworked. i've just bought ibassso dc04, quite powerful dongle dac. tried it on max gain on blessing, aria, wan er. all sounds better, but on hexa, its getting worse, the more power you pour on hexa the more you can feel its breaking. is nova the same case as hexa?
Got it! Might cop the nova as im starting to feel like there's too much bass on zero. Will also consider Chopin. Thanks for your insights. Keep it up sir!
For anyone reading this and owns both the TruthEar Hexa and the Simgot EM6L. Is it worth spending an extra $20 to get the EM6L instead of sending $20 less and getting the Hexa?
I will explain it this way. I can listen to the Hexa for long stretches. The EM6L is great for short periods of excitable listening. Get the Hexa and keep it as a reference for life.
Nova seems to be the pick for Kpop fans for sure. I can point you to like 3 channels that say the Nova is the perfect kpop iem. Not sure if I agree because I listen to metal, never listened to kpop before.

@@howardroark3670 both are tonally different tho. If you want a neutralish tuning, go for hexa. If you want some engagement, U shaped, then EM6L
Bought them cause of the smooth upper treble, looks like a solid IEM for EQ.

Congrats! Great video!
Thank you. Appreciate it man..
which one do you think be better for value? eq'd nova vs chopin?

I really tried to take your opinion seriously, but then 12:44 happened
IKR? Haha😅
Have you tried the Nova's with the foam tips?
I have. I still think think the chopin is a tad better for my preferences.. 😇
Great video! What is your favorite under $200 IEM?
Prolly chopin and ea1000
Have you heard the Aful P5? They are pretty incredible for 200 imo. @@Practiphile
Nice!!! I own the hexa so I guess I'm skipping the nova
Support from 🇵🇭.. i have Olina SE and Sennheiser Momentum 4.. do you think this is a good upgrade from those 2? How does it compare to hoadphones?

then I think the Chopin hits this description. Thanks for watching! :)

I think the nova handles power a bit better. Tho it gets shouty because there is not much compensation in the bass
Will this be a considerable upgrade if I don't have the hexa? Currently have the truthear zero blue.
If you like the bass of the blue, maybe the chopin is a better pick, aside from that, yes the nova is an upgrade in terms of stage and tonality
Got it! Might cop the nova as im starting to feel like there's too much bass on zero. Will also consider Chopin. Thanks for your insights. Keep it up sir!

Which of these would be the safe purchase? Truthear Nova or Letshuoer S12 Pro?
Safer would be the nova if you are treble sensitive
Does truthear nova objectively sound natural?
The standard level of natural yes. But not enough to be called realistic..
@@Practiphile which iem sound realistic?
@@Exert145 at around this price maybe galileo

How does it compare with other under 100$ iems ? Like simgot ea500 , og aria , tangzu fudu
this sounds smoother and more balanced compared to ea500 and aria. I havent heard fudu.. Thanks for watching! :)
Do you watch your videos before uploading them?
Yeah maybe like 1 or 2 times.. why? Please let me know what needs to be addressed.. 😇
How do they compare to the Hisenior Mega5p?
For me, the mega5p is more emotive. This one is clean sounding.
Does moondrop chu 2 is sound natural?
Havent heard the chu2s sorry
What cable is that in your nova?
Celest phoenixcall cable.. 😇
Non of them for me. Not for loud volumes
Have you tried the kato? How do these compare to them?
Yeah i have. But maybe more than a year ago. Chopin has better value imo
Only if Chopin had Galileo's cable.
Get galileo for the cable haha
