In Sept. I will turn 78. Being a retired educator and suffering with depression, I would give anything to have an off grid tiny house, but I’m too old to build it myself and money is not that great. I have very good skills. I wish I had know about these possibilities when I was younger. Although some of these you show are a little too weird for me, things like the tiny farmhouse or shipping container revamping. God bless these people for reducing their earthly footprint. I pray it continues to grow to free people from mortgages, utilities and gives them singular freedom. Thanks for your video.
I love that Toronto home, BTW, I live in Toronto and I've seen this before in our newspapers. Such a great place to live and also Toronto is a great city to live..Gerry Lewy, in Toronto, Canada.
I saw a family who converted an old double decker bus than it turned out fabulous. It provides plenty of room and 3 bedrooms for the couple and their 3 children. They own the land they live on. They could move it at any time. However, they had a landscaped a front yard and vegetable garden so they really don’t have any desire to move at present. It’s great.
My favorite is the Utopia Treehouse in Texas! Beautiful and peaceful. Now all I need is a barn below for my horses! Perfect! #2 The Underground House in Nebraska! I feel for them. I was raised in the midwest and it does get cold in winter and humid hot in summer! If I were to move back it'd be ideal, lol! Jill Gross
I would not have laughed at this house. It's kind of like a tiny house, but shaped differently. I think it's very unique. I appreciate the use of a lot of windows- nothing says space like a lot of windows. Awesome. Beautiful job!
Most of the homes are very cool and more touring time would be great, but I agree with most comments…..the commentary is horrible and I now have a headache! 😞
Some people are amazing with their creative ideas especially when they take their ideas and turn them into reality often with their own hands. I have to say that solar panels can really cut down on your power costs. Last year taking into account summer and winter I saved an average of 30% by using solar panels and on top of that and extra 10 to 20% by selling unused power back to my power company. When power storage batteries become cheaper solar will provide around 60 to 70% power essentially for free after the initial installation is paid off.
I love the tree house, so luxurious inside, just wow! Next would be the shoe. So cozy on the inside and then the glass house was pretty cool too. I love plants, so would have plenty of those to display. The clock tower was beautiful, with the clock in the living room.
Ooh! Number 15 is totally my favorite! I LOVE math so much, I find myself printing tests to work on at home! I ESPECIALLY ADORED 'The Pythagorean Theorem'! Solving for ''a'', ''b'' and ''c'' in one sexy math problem while utilizing a myriad of formulas, starting with: a2 + b2 = c2, to show that the Hypotenuse squared is equal to the sum of the sides squared. Still ''geeking out'' at 50 and loving it! : )
I did see neat narrow Toronto house on TV a few years ago. I've lived in smaller homes but my 15 ft 8 inch mobile home is fine. Master bedroom, living room & kitchen are 15 ft wide inside & comfy

The narrator is dripping with sarcasm. It's unnecessary and distracts from the subject: unique architecturally designed homes. A script rewrite is needed to go with the homes unique features.
I wish you had shown more about the houses, I would have taken the extra time to watch. If you do another one like this, if you show more about the houses, I will definitely watch. I could have done without the snarky comments. Why not just focus on the innovation of these unique homes? It still would have been plenty interesting.
@Lover Bug I watched the whole video. I said that if he had shown more of the houses, I would still watch because I don't care how long the video takes.
None of them! I did like the beautiful stained glass windows in the last house, there were so many of them. The snake was perhaps creative in a garden setting but it was raunchy! Speaking of raunchy the skate board home qualifies along with snake home! I love lots of space, high ceilings, big rooms. The homes were nice inside just with a closed-in feel. Creative too.
The condensing attitude of the narrator about every single one of these houses is the worst thing about the video. The narrator needs an attitude adjustment. No one needs to hear your snark.
I saw this comment, and I didn't take it seriously. I've heard the same guy on lots videos. This time he was so rude about some of the houses. There was no reason for it. Seriously disappointed this time!

I don't get why so many channels ask us to give a thumbs up, subscription & to hit the notification bell BEFORE seeing the video. I refuse to do that unless I genuinely like the video to give a thumbs up & will only sub if I see multiple videos that are thought out well & unbiased. This video doesn't make the cut.
You don’t have to subscribe or like the video to watch it. You can still view it without doing that, they’re just tying to get more subscribers and people to like their content because they will earn money from it eventually
That building with the huge clock in it showed up in the movie, "Baby's Day Out" where the baby had a favorite book that everyone had to read to him and the baby in the book went to the zoo, so our baby went to the zoo. Baby in the book went to a building under construction so our baby went to a building under construction. I don't remember all of his adventures but I do remember that the baby ended up going to the building with the huge clock in it. Oh, to add a bit of intrigue to the movie, the baby was the child of a super rich daddy and kidnappers were hot on his trail everywhere he went. Well, that's enough of that. I just really wanted to mention the building with the clock.
I don't think we need all of the snarky comments! I am in awe of the tiny Eco friendly homes! And if everyone was happy with minimal space instead of huge houses, we'd be in alot better shape and even better if there off grid so the power companies and government aren't making billions off of us! And not to say that we'd have to live on a tiny lot... you could have a Eco friendly home on Fifty acres and if you have workers on your farm, building a few tiny homes wouldn't take up alot of space!
Yeah, I'm not a fan of the sarcasm, either. Each of these well-constructed homes has its own unique blueprint and and most of them have amazing interiors. No need to tear them down so to speak.
I think that if common folks had more freedoms to build when, where and how they pleased, then there would probably be no need for such a video as this. If we truly had more options, many of us would prefer THAT as opposed to paying ever increasing rental rates, of which always go up, but never go back down. Not sure why you're speaking so negatively about all these homes.
Its unnecessary and makes for a very uncomfortable viewing.
It's also incredibly annoying droning voice, I muted it after 10 seconds - also..."idea-llic?" that's how it was pronounced.
