This is why I love your channel. Only one of the dresses was something I personally would wear, but I still learned so much about finding great pieces and building a wardrobe.
Thank you so much Rachel for such a great video! I just love vintage, classic clothing, it's so beautiful! Thank you for having such amazing content and for being a voice for women who desire to go back to traditional values, morals, and lifestyle. Praying all goes well for your wedding planning! Take care and may the Lord bless you and keep you, may He watch over you and give you His peace. Be safe!
We older women call the color of that lace dress aqua. It’s the absolute best for Summer coloring, but I don’t see it as often as I would like. I do have one silk shirt in it.
The jacquard fabric dress is very pretty, perfect for going to tea. However, a little etiquette tip high tea isn't the same as afternoon tea. Afternoon tea is served between 3-5pm and has all the delicate assemble you would associate. High tea is served after 5pm and was typically for servants who ate meats and bread after a hard day's work. I think what you are describing is afternoon tea, which I think the jacquard dress is perfect for! :)
Thank you, Beth. I didn't know that. Now that I think about it, I believe it is afternoon tea. Although I have heard some people call it high tea, but yes, that is what I meant.
@@TheRachelReview Many confuse the two, I'm British, and some people even do it here! I learnt about it from William Hanson, an etiquette expert; I'd think you'd be super interested in his books, videos, articles etc.! Honestly, though all your dresses were stunning, and I always think what great style you have 💕. Please don't stop making videos!
Thank you for this video. I am also a classic romantic and I am currently changing my wardrobe over to describe myself better. This video is very helpful and encouraging. I love to wear dresses too!
I just bought my first LoveShackFancy dress for my birthday new with tags on Depop! I am obsessed with it and it’s the absolutely highest quality item I own.
@@peacefulmindtoday Mine is a linen mini dress with puff sleeves and a v-neckline. I find that it really holds its shape well and is super breathable and easy to move in. The details are just stunning, even for the shorter, simpler one I have
Hi Rachel. You are one of my favorite vloggers and influencers---hope I am using the right verbage there. I have been studying classic ladies styling formally (it's a slow process) for about 3 years now. I like Nordstrom, Kate Spade, and Ann Taylor, among others. I love this intro to feminine high end dresses. I noticed you show 10 dresses. I am sure many of them could be worn in the summer and perhaps some in the Fall. Curious: how many dresses you own? I limit my Pinterest page to 20 dresses total so a lady could enjoy them all throughout the year. Thank you for your videos.
@@TheRachelReview Thank you for the reply and for liking my comment. To be clear, I enjoy learning ladies' styling because it is a challenge, and because many ladies love that I know something about it. I would consider it an honor if you would consider letting me do an hour zoom session with you. I know your guidance will really help me stay focused on keeping up with the classics. Of course I would pay you in advance for your time. My email is davidgriffin1967@gmail.com if you are interested in teaching me some things. I would be delighted to share my Pinterest boards with you. I follow you and many of the brands you recommend. (BTW: Who cares about reasonable? If you have 500 dresses, and they make you happy, more power to you!)
The mauvy purple dress is beautiful. I wish style was more like it was in the 40's and 50's.
I love seeing the additional romantic, feminine, lace elements being added to your wardrobe! Such a beautiful twist on your classic style.

I would love to see more of what you wear and how you style them.
The cutwork fabric of the aqua dress is called Broderie Anglaise, French for English Embroidery.

Zimmerman is one of my all time favorites. Absolutely classic, feminine and beautiful.
I dropped the Eileen Fisher brand when it started using polyester. Such a shame, I always relied on it for quality basics.
Everything is so pretty! Loved the video I learned so much!
Yay white gloves!🥰
I love the Alice and Olivia blue dress!

I am very interested in Love Shack Fancy. How do you like your first dress?

@@thegillmachine It sounds lovely. Thanks for sharing. I would love to get an item number so I can take a look at it!
@@peacefulmindtoday Not sure what the item number is, but if you look up LoveShackFancy Lena dress it comes up on google. It’s the one in cream.
Ugh, these are all to die for 😍😍😍 Thanks for sharing!
Victoria from In the Frow has a small collection at Holland-Cooper this spring.
Several of those dresses lines are similar to thing Lady Diana wore in her later years.
I love this! Thank you 😊

Oh David, that is a tough question! I probably own more dresses than what is reasonable for any woman to own. 🙈

Where is that green dress from in your main picture?!?!
It was from Gal Meets Glam but sadly they aren't in business anymore! :(
