It was very close but he came in 2nd to Sandy Lam who was practically a legend at the time in China. You should see her performance in 2017 singer episode 12. You already saw Theresa Carpio (love her) and and Terry Lin who is also a great singer. So the competition was fierce. Since you love Scarborough Fair then you must watch Forstella perform it in haunting beautiful fashion with a great mesh of 4 diverse ultra talented males from Korea. Forstella has so so many great spectacular and beautiful songs with a wide range of genres. From opera, rock, pop, etc etc. Best to you always and thank you for your reactions and efforts
