Salah is the best poper/funk/electro/etc,, dancer ever to walk this planet. His dances are not just a DANCE, they are interpretation of the song. He is a genious. The only near as good as him I can think of are the two black bro's from France, they dance same style as Salah.

wow baby bang did very well here, and this was all the way back in 2010. He went against a legend and stood his ground, impressive. Salah knows his tricks and how to get the attention of the audience, which is one of the reasons he is such a good battler.

the fat guy problaly knows the moves and all, but if he tried them it wouldn´t look good, you need to be slim or skinny to do this to make it look good, so you see every single little movement. fat people have vobble that move and that´s not control.

Well in my opinion baby bang its a way better popper, but salah its a way better entretaining like he said he use the PABE style. So for me baby bang should won but I love salah too, dont misunderstand me, actually I think salah its a damn god I like him more than baby but baby its a great popper and salah a great entertainer

@@arch0na I couldn’t agree more, Salah is a legend and one of the best to ever do it. We knew eachother from before, and I looked up to him very much. At the time of this battle I was 15. One of the first popping videos I ever saw was a video of Salah battling in Juste Debout. I said to myself that one day I will be in that environment and battle someone like Salah. I was so excited at this opportunity to go into UK bboy, and when I understood I was going up against Salah I was thrilled, it was my dream to just stand there on that stage with someone as great as him. I knew of course that my chances to win were minimal and I was extremely nervous, but I decided to try and enjoy this moment. However even though I went through the first round before this, UK bboy had not really been all that great up until that point. The huge pressure, the stress and on top of that the hosts constantly laughing about something related to my appearance. I’m laughing at them here because I didn’t know what else to do really. But in the battle before this they made jokes about my weight for example. I had a problem with gaining weight and was at this time very self conscious about it. I was aware that I was skinny and I hated how I looked and also had a hard time in school because of it, so when they joked that way in front of all these people and during something I had been looking forward to for so long, it really got to me, popping was my life and this was my dream. With this in mind I still tried to have fun during this battle, and it was fun to begin with. We had talked about how fun we thought it would be to battle eachother before and during the first round we where both having a good time I think. During the second round however he thought that I was trying to diss him. I had this combo where I wanted it to look like I was holding back my arm before releasing it in some kind of ”twirl”. Salah thought that I meant to do some kind of ”fuck you” gesture which I would never even think about doing in any battle situation, and especially not when facing one my own idols who I really respect, also I was waaay too nervous to start planning ways to diss someone. After this I saw something change on his part. I was used to the battle mentality and wouldn’t take a diss personally usually. But this was different, he was in fact really angry, I saw that it had become deeply personal to him. At the time I couldn’t understand why everything suddenly changed. After he won he told me to come with him. He was very angry and yelled at me about what he thought I did on stage, I tried to explain that it was never my intention and apologized if it came of that way, but he wouldn’t listen. Instead he took me by the arm and led me up to several people asking one stranger after the other what that sign meant, they all of course answered the same thing. He then said ”see it means the same in every language” and continued yelling asking me over and over why I had done this to him, how I could betray him this way even though we knew eachother and he had tried to teach me and even met my family. I tried telling him again about never wanting to diss him, how it was just a combo I had done before and never intended it to be a diss. But also apologized over and over if it looked that way on stage. After a while he left, still not believing me. Today I would have handled things differently, I would have stood up for myself more, but I’m also older now, I was 15 here and I immediately left the arena after this, went back to the hotel and cried the rest of the night. After this I think I subconsciously started to retract from the battle scene little by little, each year doing less battles. It was never the same really. But it was probably for the best that I had this experience, today I only revisit these old battles every third year and appreciate the good things about that time and instead of pursuing this I have found other passions. But to conclude everything haha, 10 years later I also haven’t changed my mind, he absolutely killed it and definitely won the battle, and I have the greatest respect for him, he is one of if not Thee greatest of all time in my opinionen.
