Chicago also has this. Dallas really doesn’t but what it does have is classic Hindu restaurants called Kalachandjis (College Hindis) Cosmic Cafe and “Spiral Diner,” which all inspire newer areas of town like Bishop Arts. Cafe Brazil is a fun place to try.

After 12:30pm places become busy espcially where I live in Sheffield tends to die down around 4-5pm up here not sure about London

Never walk down Oxford street if in a hurry. Walk 2 streets over, much quieter also you can get cheaper better food not far from tourist traps if you walk a little way.
Sometimes its quicker to walk 2 tube stops in zone 1 than get the tube between them.
