in my psych class we learned that being rejected is equivalent to the human minds pain receptors as physical pain. the same part of your brain that reacts when you experience physical pain is the same part that lights up when you get rejected. we are wired to feel like we belong and that we are included but it sucks that sometimes we think wayyyyy too much about only ourselves and not getting rejected rather than leaning into the discomfort and curiosity of possibly not getting rejected

Cody not realizing that people have different length torsos is hilarious to me. I knew a girl that looked drastically taller than me while sitting but when we stood up, we were the exact same height. I had longer legs while she had a longer torso lol

The dudes arms were so much shorter. Men have longer arms than women and women typically have longer legs than men in proportion. Women also typically have shorter torsos. So I'm sure it's possible he is the same height but it seems unlikely
