Everyday I am posting on SM trying to defend my people from the terrible things that are being said about blacks and seeing how even with the pandemic...our lives don’t seem to matter as much. But everyday, I still come here. I come here to see the pretty, shiny face highlighters, the lipsticks, the gleaming eyeshadow (Pat McGrath has done it again!). We all need to be able to get away from the heavy EVIL things we face. So please know that you are appreciated and are ESSENTIAL🥰. And btw I buy A LOT of products based off of your recommendations and I talk to the mirror when I do my skincare or makeup like I have an audience 😆😆😆😬. What a mess.😂
There’s been protests in London today over it, people are waking up all over the world to what has been happening. Many are also talking about the documentary on Netflix 13th. I know there’s no quick fix to this but just wanted you to know people are becoming more aware.
I'm so glad I discovered this channel (through tinted moisturizers with SPF video). I usually watch only skincare videos, and not so much about makeup. Everyone's skin colors and tones are so different - even neutral, warm or cool will throw things off A LOT. Plus girls in the US like to pack makeup on like crazy, RUclipsrs mainly review eyeshadow pallets (how many can one person have, seriously?). And this video is like a breath of fresh air. It also makes it a lot easier when you find someone not only with a similar approach to makeup (very lightweight, dewy and more French no-makeup look) but also with the same skin tone, because then you can really see how different bronzers, highlighters and lipstick work together. Anyway, enough rambling. Thank you, Michele! I'm happy I found your channel.

It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for. It’s light but has some coverage and feels good on my skin. It makes my skin look glowy and youthful. Doesn’t sink into my fine lines. Hi Michele, you look beautiful! And I have kind of similar issue with powder eyeshadows- I have a bit of psoriasis on my eyelids, which make them dry and sensitive. Each time I put a powder eyeshadow, my eyelids become itchy and I just want to take it off. I do enjoy Surrat cream eyeshadows. For my eyelids I discovered the Hydrating eye Cream by Derma-E. This line is organic and made of natural ingredients. And it is so soothing for my dry-ish psoriasis prone eyelids. If I have dry eyelids in the evening, I'll just put some cream before going to sleep, and in the morning feel the difference. I buy it on I-Herb.

I’m really loving Scott Barnes Highlighter pallete. I actually use all of them. Pink ones on my cheeks. The lighter whites on my nose. The gold in corner of eyes. The gold ones on the bows of mouth. So yeah , his big pallete is something I use all the time in one makeup look !
I've been loving the kosas bronzer in light. I feel like it has a creamy finish that truly makes it look like my skin, just warmed up and golden. I like the Clinique bronzer too but the kosas suits my skin tone just a little better.

Try the LaRoche Posay line for the super moisturizing line for eczema. I find I can put it on my face, let it sit for 10 min and then going in with my makeup without having it play with my make up.
Jennifer Gould - I agree, LRP have some wonderful products. Avène’s Cicalfate range is nice too. I had a reaction to a retinol/vit c serum (it was way to strong for me) and my face was dry, flaky, looked burnt and everything I put on it stung. Avène have a no rinse cleanser that was great on my sore face and their Cicalfate Post-Procedure cream was a dream. These products are great on my daughter’s skin when she has a eczema break out.

Haha, the Ilia is also my new favorite mascara and I don't really have any favorites other than Clinique Natural glossy mascara. And I will say that it smells really good for mascara! Strange but good. It makes my lashes full and not clumpy! I just wish that they would also make it in brown because I also like that color.

You have become my favorite to go to for makeup reviews. We have similar taste in what we like in makeup, and similar skin in regards to runs dry and I have eczema too. Heavy makeup is not my thing. I love that you just enhance your natural beauty and don’t contour it to a different shape. I am a mom of 3 young children. I don’t have time for all of that!

Try Ilia’s translucent loose powder. You will get the same effect and benefits. Please note the dispenser brush is magnetic to easily remove for cleaning. Also, the brush dispenser has a setting for buffing that does not release powder if needed.
Great summation of what looks like lovely products! I recently picked up the Sisley blush in Lorchidee Veil- a gorgeous bronzy peach tone that looks like it was made for my skin tone, and their bronzer during the sale. No regrets.. that bronzer is stunning. I might have to try that Kosas bronzer sometime. I have one of the Tower 28 blushes in Golden Hour that I’ve been using every day too ... it is stunning.🥰

I've really gone crazy with perfumes lately ... we have similar tastes it sounds like... try Byredo Pulp and Unnamed, diptyque o'freesia, joe malone osmanthus blossom, basically anything from Aerin... but my faves are Mediteranean Honeysuckle, Limone di Silia, (think its LE so I bought 2 backups), and Eclat de vert, Rose de Grasse...Clean in Radian Nectar (not that long lasting but delicious), house of silage good girl gone bad and Benevolence, gucci emerald gardenia (green bottle), Heretic Dirty Lemon and dirty Fig... just a few lol! And mu husband hates all scents bit I can get away with all of these!! I'm also sensitive to scents too... love ya! 🤗🧡🙋♀️
I love my Kosas bronzer too!! I got the shade in light. I can go ham with it and it never looks overdone!! My first baked bronzer ever and now I want to try more in that formula! 💓

Great reviews. I was wondering if you'd tried any of the Chantecaille blushes...specifically the ones in the "Colors that Give Back" line and if so how did you feel about them. The love lovely but I'm just not quite sure about purchasing.
I have Emotion, Grace and Joy. They're all so beautiful. I love how subtle, yet effective most Chantecaille products are. Very very lovely and feminine. I think I like Emotion and Joy the most. Grace is beautiful, but almost too light for my skintone. Perfect for someone with very fair skin.

Hi Michelle, have you tried the CPB mascara? They are the best for my Asian lashes that usually don’t hold the curl. Another well know Japanese drug store brand is the Kiss Me mascara, but it might be a little hard to find in the US.

Maybe, since staying indoor reduces your Vit D with deficiencies showing on your skin first. Research it you'll see what I mean. I've been having tremendous skin issues since the lockdown. I recently upped my Vit D and my skin issues seems to be clearing up.

Try the LaRoche Posay line for the super moisturizing line for eczema. I find I can put it on my face, let it sit for 10 min and then going in with my makeup without having it play with my make up.
Jennifer Gould - I agree, LRP have some wonderful products. Avène’s Cicalfate range is nice too. I had a reaction to a retinol/vit c serum (it was way to strong for me) and my face was dry, flaky, looked burnt and everything I put on it stung. Avène have a no rinse cleanser that was great on my sore face and their Cicalfate Post-Procedure cream was a dream. These products are great on my daughter’s skin when she has a eczema break out.

Haha, the Ilia is also my new favorite mascara and I don't really have any favorites other than Clinique Natural glossy mascara. And I will say that it smells really good for mascara! Strange but good. It makes my lashes full and not clumpy! I just wish that they would also make it in brown because I also like that color.

We have similar taste in what we like in makeup, and similar skin in regards to runs dry and I have eczema too.
Heavy makeup is not my thing. I love that you just enhance your natural beauty and don’t contour it to a different shape. I am a mom of 3 young children. I don’t have time for all of that!

Try Ilia’s translucent loose powder. You will get the same effect and benefits. Please note the dispenser brush is magnetic to easily remove for cleaning. Also, the brush dispenser has a setting for buffing that does not release powder if needed.

I recently picked up the Sisley blush in Lorchidee Veil- a gorgeous bronzy peach tone that looks like it was made for my skin tone, and their bronzer during the sale. No regrets.. that bronzer is stunning. I might have to try that Kosas bronzer sometime. I have one of the Tower 28 blushes in Golden Hour that I’ve been using every day too ... it is stunning.🥰

... we have similar tastes it sounds like... try Byredo Pulp and Unnamed, diptyque o'freesia, joe malone osmanthus blossom, basically anything from Aerin... but my faves are Mediteranean Honeysuckle, Limone di Silia, (think its LE so I bought 2 backups), and Eclat de vert, Rose de Grasse...Clean in Radian Nectar (not that long lasting but delicious), house of silage good girl gone bad and Benevolence, gucci emerald gardenia (green bottle), Heretic Dirty Lemon and dirty Fig... just a few lol! And mu husband hates all scents bit I can get away with all of these!! I'm also sensitive to scents too... love ya! 🤗🧡🙋♀️

Great reviews. I was wondering if you'd tried any of the Chantecaille blushes...specifically the ones in the "Colors that Give Back" line and if so how did you feel about them. The love lovely but I'm just not quite sure about purchasing.
I have Emotion, Grace and Joy. They're all so beautiful. I love how subtle, yet effective most Chantecaille products are. Very very lovely and feminine. I think I like Emotion and Joy the most. Grace is beautiful, but almost too light for my skintone. Perfect for someone with very fair skin.

Hi Michelle, have you tried the CPB mascara? They are the best for my Asian lashes that usually don’t hold the curl. Another well know Japanese drug store brand is the Kiss Me mascara, but it might be a little hard to find in the US.

Maybe, since staying indoor reduces your Vit D with deficiencies showing on your skin first. Research it you'll see what I mean. I've been having tremendous skin issues since the lockdown. I recently upped my Vit D and my skin issues seems to be clearing up.
