A desert island is a deserted island, the desert in this instance does not mean a place devoid of rain but a synonym of deserted. "Uninhabited islands are sometimes also called "deserted islands" or "desert islands". In the latter, the adjective desert connotes not desert climate conditions, but rather "desolate and sparsely occupied or unoccupied". The word desert has been "formerly applied more widely to any wild, uninhabited region, including forest-land", and it is this archaic meaning that appears in the phrase "desert island"."
Blood on the clock tower is so fun and has a lot of dramatic irony Snake oil is great bc it’s just a bunch of bullshitting lol Wavelengths is a lot of wtf And I haven’t laughed this hard in a long time. My abs hurt 😅
So excited that you guys are moving to a studio. For a game, I would Snake Oil, Wavelength, or Secret Hitler. Also, you guys should get NRB Memes on before you move to the studio. For the first Studio vid, Secret Hitler or Werewolf Live would be awesome!
Board game club games I would love to see again: Spyfall, But Wait There’s More, Dixit, Fake Artist Goes To New York, Another Jackbox game, Maybe Cards Against Humanity? Keep up the fantastic work guys!!!!!
My list would be: -Snake Oil (the mature version please and please let Tom be there) -Werewolf (Jon is brilliant…and a bit silly) -Spyfall (either one or two,I don‘t mind)
Please play Funemployed again. Sully made me cry with laughter in that game. Brooke and some other big personalities would add so much to a Round 2. Sullivan Bum - "I have problems with my own plumbing, if you know what I mean"
My aunt has stage 4 cancer and is incredibly sick. Life has been tough recently and I've been crying non stop...but for 1 hour I laughed so much. Thank you so much NRB for giving me a moment's worth of happiness. 🙏
I think that, Rosie's No Popery guess and Sully's Fire Giant are the only ones that have completely baffled me. Even the fishtank house, ejector seat and hoof > bellend had some reasoning I could follow.
I don't know what is so funny to me about the "apathetic about boats" one, but I laughed so much that I started coughing and my brother entered into my room to check if I was alright. So thank you, Laurie. That was freaking hilarious, mate.
I would love to see you guys play Sheriff of Nottingham in person, in case that ever becomes an option, but I actually… DEARLY love Blood on the Clocktower over Zoom, like I actually kinda like that better? Am I weird and alone in this?
A studio for board game club sounds amazing. For me I would love to see snake oil again. If not that Jackbox's Talking Points sounds like a game made for Board Game Club. The improv for that game seems like something you guys would enjoy.
I would love to see you guys playing Coup, Deception and Werewolf [One Night Ultimate version too] live! Your personalities are all very charming, and social deduction games with a camera and your always-nice editing should be perfect! But the BEST would definitely be to see you playing Monster Seeking Monster from Jackbox Party Pack 4, but without using your names to sign in. Choosing a random celebrity, or a vegetable, something that doesn't give your identity away. Cheers to a live Board Game Club!
I think a legacy series would be interesting but it shouldn't be a board game club (could be a separate series though) Purely because the joy of those games are the twists and turns and spoilers that you might end up not selling the game when the series should be selling the games. It does work for those who can't play legacy games, or have played them before and see how the crew do it differently, thus why separate is still cool. Adam has played all the best ones, so it could be a series for the others. Like a pandemic season 1 with Sully, Blair, Jon and Brooke could be cool
My question is: What about those who dont live in the UK? People like Carley? You mentioned that BotC will only be played until the official release, so thats also gone "soon". How will non-UK regulars be handled?
@@PrizeJ according to the Wits and Wagers ep, Blair is American (she also said where she's from, but I can't remember off the top of my head. I think it was Portland?), but iirc, she's in the UK rn
@@JustLanseu Yeah it figures, seeing as she doesn't at all have a British accent. I would have thought Canada, but I can see like Oregon or something. Makes sense.
Snake Oil, FunEmployed and Saboteur I’d love to see in the final episodes over zoom but having said that. Saboteur in person could be quite fun as well!
A studio will be excellent, just stay safe & err on the side of caution. For the farewell tour, I quite liked Wavelength, so wouldn't mind seeing that one more time.
Can’t wait! Here’s some recommendations, all on BGA: Previously played: Coup and Saboteur are excellent, but turn on “maximum number of saboteurs” Not yet played: Love Letter, 6 Nimmt, or Not Alone.
I loved all your Blood On The Clocktower, though I doubt you'll be able to do it in person as well as online. P.S. I still love the Detective, Johnny High-Jump!
Well, I've been binging through your back catalog ever since discovering this channel, and this episode is absolutely the funniest thing I've seen since Whose Line. You're all amazing.
Lemme tell you the 4 i want to see again. Dobbins or bobbins, wavelength, snake oil, fake artist. Also when you get the studio up id love to watch a betrayal legacy series
Absolutely incredible!!! And I might be jumping the gun, but I would be so excited to see a return of CBW, CBW, CBW! When you can be in person of course
It was this channel that inspired me to buy some of the fun games you all have enjoyed so much! I can't wait to introduce them to some of my fellow grad students!
Congratulations on the move finally! I'd love to see you guys play some of the board game masterpiece games even maybe some multiple part legacy games you have talked about. I believe Galactic Imperium it was called sounds very fun and interesting.
Another game of Telestrations, another Friday evening of rolling around with laughter. "Triplets and Abe Lincoln" x) Live BGC yesss! Will we see the whole crew we have come to love there, or are some located too remotely to join in? For the farewell tour, I would love to see another round of Deception: Murder in Hong Kong, as it's my favorite game among the ones I've been introduced to by this channel, and I think it's an excellent game for allowing the audience to play along and join in on guessing the murderer. With real games being a thing, it would be great to see some games featured on Masterpieces finally being played! Particularly, Mansions of Madness, as I'm sure it would be a treat with all the actors around... :D
I forget which game brought us "Yogaman", but that one and "But Wait There's More" immediately come to mind. Thanks for all of the entertainment to help keep us sane in the pandemic and I look forward to videos of live games again. More CBW for partsFUNknown as well please
I think maybe you guys could keep some Jackbox games or maybe make it into a new series on the channel? I really hope that you guys will play Betrayal at The House on the Hill in the future one day, as always, love you guys!
Even though live will be incredible to see you guys, I think for viewers of it, some games offers a better experience in the current format. Whatever you guys do I imagine you’ll smash it and we will enjoy board game club for years to come hopefully!!
Congratulations to moving the format to in person guys! About time Maanuv defended his BGC Title. For games that we need to see before NRB goes live, we need to see Deception w/ Rosie, Saboteur w/ Dom, Snake Oil w/ EVERYONE, and Spyfall w/ Denise.
I would love to see new boardgames! Who wouldn't? Just make sure that some of our fan favorites like Telestrations don't disappear forever. Happy for ya'll
Wow in person BGC, can't wait but before then would love for you guys to play Snake Oil 3 in adult version because the first Snake Oil was probably THE funniest BGC episode ever and that's saying something
Look forward to the big move, love the Board Game Club and think I've seen them all. On that note...hmmm... Please play Pandemic again. That got incredibly tense, as it should, and was great fun to watch!
Yay! So excited for you guys to get back to in person gaming. Would love to see Colt Express, Secret Hitler, Fake Artist Goes to New York or Snake Oil.
So for a farewell to zoom tour. I'd love to see another coop game pandemic was hilarious! Also spyfall, deception, and Dobbins and bobbins. Say anything was also a blast as you all roasted each other.
Great news on face to face BGC. I hope that happens and goes well. I've loved the Zoom games. Given me some ideas on what to play. Wavelength and Secret Hitler I'd love to see you play again, as well as Bobbins and Dobbins (sorry if wrong name, but you know what I mean). Thank you to all members for giving us some fantastic entertainment over the last 40 or so weeks.
I'd like to see Secret Hitler again. A game you haven't played yet I'd like to see you play, that would probably work on Zoom, would be Love Letter. But I honestly would watch you all play Telestrations every week. I am always in stitches!
It would be brilliant if you can keep the online format for games like Blood on the clock tower, i know editing it is probably a nightmare, but it's probably one of the best pieces of content on here. Plus it allows guests from across the pond to join. Thx for everything, you guys are awesome.
Snake oil, secret hitler and werewolf would be great, also idk if you guys know about town of Salem, while it is a video game it is a social deduction game , idk if it would work but I figured can’t hurt to bring it up
Fibbage, all about you. Many of the classics are awesome in person but let's have a game where we learn about how much you all know about the people you've spent so many games playing together.
Awesome news folks! 4 games to wrap up the remote sessions??? I'd say Dixit (fun group game), one more Telestrations (but you gotta have Pete this time!), Decrypto (great game to play along at home), and finally I'd love to see one more session of Dobbins & Bobbins (that previous one was so damn funny)! Cheers!

Welcome back to NRB's favorite series: You'll never guess what Brooke does for a living!
We all know Sully is addicted to bits, but Tom should be ashamed (and proud) of himself for how much he matched that energy, in detail, this episode 😂
"it's not a good rat, but it's not a bad pig." That made me laugh.
Deception: Murder in Hong Kong!! I loved that series!
"I'd like to see Sully take a Rorschach test" is so very true and honestly same

-Blood on the Clocktower
-Snake oil
-Wave length
-Telestrations
Always great fun to watch
Agreeeeed
Blood on the clock tower is so fun and has a lot of dramatic irony
Snake oil is great bc it’s just a bunch of bullshitting lol

Instead of Kenny Omega being the Belt Collector, Sullivan is the Bit Collector.
My list would be:
-Snake Oil (the mature version please and please let Tom be there)
-Werewolf (Jon is brilliant…and a bit silly)
-Spyfall (either one or two,I don‘t mind)
I first read "Snake Oil" as "Shake Oli" and I was imagining the NRB and WT crew shaking Oli Davis aggressively. This has made my day!
@@PaulBlxck Now I remember the pose with the title by Oli…And I have ruined everybodies day as well 😂
Saboteur was just loads of fun. If Rosie and Dom were in this, the chaos would be brilliant.
I wish you and your family all the best mate 🙏
hope your auntie is well💗💗
How’d she do?
I love that Laurie's pig looked like a cow and Brooke's cow looked like a pig, two wrongs somehow making a right.
Honestly I was able to understand where they came from with every guess and then Sully decided Triplets and Abe Lincoln made sense.
I think that, Rosie's No Popery guess and Sully's Fire Giant are the only ones that have completely baffled me. Even the fishtank house, ejector seat and hoof > bellend had some reasoning I could follow.
Might append this and say I get not remembering Mount Rushmore exists, but triplets and abe lincoln is... something.
I don't know what is so funny to me about the "apathetic about boats" one, but I laughed so much that I started coughing and my brother entered into my room to check if I was alright. So thank you, Laurie. That was freaking hilarious, mate.
More SNAKE OIL!!! I laugh incredibly hard when those episodes are on queue!
I would love to see you guys play Sheriff of Nottingham in person, in case that ever becomes an option, but I actually… DEARLY love Blood on the Clocktower over Zoom, like I actually kinda like that better? Am I weird and alone in this?
Totally agree!
I don't think Clocktower would work nearly as well in person, but I'd also be interested to see how they'd do it.
They did do now it was amazing
even better it turns out!
In-person board game club; YES please! Can’t wait!!
My suggestions Fake Artist, Secret Hitler, and Wavelength
A studio for board game club sounds amazing. For me I would love to see snake oil again. If not that Jackbox's Talking Points sounds like a game made for Board Game Club. The improv for that game seems like something you guys would enjoy.
“But wait, there’s more” and “snake oil” we’re probably my favourites
My favorite ones are the ones that are light and fun like this and wavelength.
Loving the “room is scorching hot” continuity of yours Adam lol
I’d like to see Say Anything, Dixit, and Funemployed in person.
I would love to see you guys playing Coup, Deception and Werewolf [One Night Ultimate version too] live!
Your personalities are all very charming, and social deduction games with a camera and your always-nice editing should be perfect!

When the in person games start I would love to see a legacy game series. It may work better as a monthly series Ala blood on the clock tower.

Isn’t Rosie also American? You’ve gotta keep Rosie on!
Isn't Blair Canadian? Denise is American, but I would love to see her on more.

Downforce is a fun easy to understand game and you get to make car noises and screw over other people, always good!
Blood on the Clock tower is an instant request. By far my favorite thing you've guys have posted.
Dobbins & Bobbins or A Fake Artist Goes to New York! :-D Can't wait to watch the new episodes in a studio!
Would love to see Snake Oil and Funemployed again. So glad you guys can finally do games in person soon.

I loved all your Blood On The Clocktower, though I doubt you'll be able to do it in person as well as online.
P.S. I still love the Detective, Johnny High-Jump!
Honestly, I've loved all the Telestrations and Snake Oil episodes over Zoom. 11/10 would watch in person too even if they're "old" games

Only four words can answer this : SNAKE OIL WITH ROSIE
Board Game Club in lockdown was awesome. But I'm so hyped that you guys are leaving the Thunderdome
A studio! I'm so excited and will watch every thing you throw at us. You can't go wrong with whatever. Thank you so much for what you do.
Besides the obvious more Blood on the Clock Tower, I would love to see another round of Wits and Wagers.
Looking forward to watching you play games on an actual board. As for the Farewell Zoom tour: More Spyfall would be great!
Anything guys and gals. All the club episodes are brilliant. Congratulations on getting back to in person games
Secret Hitler, Funemployed, Snake Oil, But Wait! There's More, are four I can think of that I really enjoyed.

Blood on the Clock Tower would be good to see again on Zoom, and then you play it in person and compare! :D

Zoom game vote: more Blood on the Clocktower! So much replayability and IMO your best channel game. Cheers to board games IRL!

So for a farewell to zoom tour. I'd love to see another coop game pandemic was hilarious! Also spyfall, deception, and Dobbins and bobbins. Say anything was also a blast as you all roasted each other.
Oh my god you need to play Snake Oil again FOR SURE. It has me in tears every time. And Spyfall is a must as well
I would adore Drunk Dobbins and Bobbins. At the very least if everyone dressed up like they were spending the day at Ascot it would be lovely!

If we're doing trilogies/sequels you HAVE to do another Snake Oil or Dobbins & Bobbins!

maanuv is an absolute treasure, would love to see him more often! (maanuv for botc maybe?)
Fibbage, all about you. Many of the classics are awesome in person but let's have a game where we learn about how much you all know about the people you've spent so many games playing together.
This game is so fun. Adam, I am starting to think that Telestrations would make a helluva Quizzlemania round...
Tom is the best at this game,
Not because he’s good but because he’s terrible and I love it
That one got me laughing hard enough to bring tears. Enjoyed that one.
Cheers!
In person games sounds great. I'd love more snake oil!
Can't wait to see BGC Live! For replay I think Codenames, Secret Hitler, Wavelength and Deception: Murder in Hong Kong
Any game you all play is brilliant 👏. So, surprise us!
With the constant references to smaller better Blairs, the fact there has been no sequel to Say Anything is a travesty and must be rectified before august ends. The NRB lore keepers demand it! (That being said, you are all awesome and never stop being awesome)
Wits and Wagers was a fun episode!
