It is only safe to refreeze ice cream if it is slightly melted and has been kept cold. If it melted outside the freezer,refreezing it and eating it could be unsafe. When ice cream melts, bacteria such as Listeria can grow. Listeria outbreaks can occur in freezers when ice cream that melted isrefrozen. Taken from google :) be safe x
I think you should have left the ice cream.. it contains milk that has been off ice for a while from the looks of it.. it could possibly make you very ill. If it was good.. of course it will freeze back but it would be extremely gross and gritty.. While I was watching you go back for it.. I was screaming "LEAVE IIIIIITTTTTTTT!!!!😂😂😂

I really like the apartment dives because you can find unique cool stuff even some vintage stuff. Where as if you’re going to the other dumpsters at the malls you’re just going to find run-of-the-mill stuff that everybody has. I watch a lot of dumpster diving and you’ve got me captivated.
I love the dorm dives and the apt.dumpster dives so much. I agree those really set you apart. I love love love your dives and after wash show the people what you found. You're doing such a good job.
I'm in Alberta, Canada, and all our dumpsters are trash compactors. They had them locked for years and them brought in the compactors. It sucks cause I LOVE dumpster diving. Hubby and I were managers at a few townhouse complexes, and whenever someone moved out, I'd go dumpster diving and furnished our whole house. Great finds today ♥️

This not only causes damage to the economy, it is not correct for people who need help, because they have lost their job or become ill and cannot work. If you want chocolate and candy make sure you keep checking CVS after major holidays where candy is a big thing . Think Christmas , Valentine's and Easter . I have walked away with trash bags so full of candy I could barely carry them to the vehicle . CVS is also good for snacks and drinks .

I do have to agree with Shelley about watching yourself at the mall. Sometimes mall security can be REALLY rude and sometimes employees even ruder. They’ll tell you it’s illegal to dive blah blah blah we all know it’s not but they will say that.
@@starryeyedwish8005 you can't throw your car, mattress or other furniture in the dryer. Sure you can clothes but not if they spread throughout the house or car first.
I'd like to see you go to a wealthy neighbourhood where the local real estate papers reveal that houses are about to sell and see if they have a dumpster out the front filled with items they no longer want. Also does your town have hard garbage collection days where people leave furniture on the kerb for the local council to pick up? I would like you to ask the owners "if you don't want it can I take it?"
She's definitely playing Russian roulette with her body all those parasites she's packing in her body and home bringing all that stuff into her home full of flies fly eggs larvae some of that stuff was probably thrown in the dump because of that person's living situation could have been contaminated with something very unhealthy for the human body I would be terrified to go to the length she's going to get that stuff I'm itching so bad I just can't watch anymore. Someone could have died in their home and been in there for weeks or months and their body decomposing and some of that stuff is probably thrown in there for that reason it's highly contaminated!

That elderberry syrup is still good. Refrigerating will increase the shelf life to about 3 months.. when it’s not refrigerated, it’ll last about a month. Elderberry syrup is good stuff. I just ordered some from this same company lol. It’s good to put into smoothies to give you that extra boost, or to just drink as is ☺️

mall dumpsters are usually the best dumpsters!! 😀 as long as that mall's security is either cool with it, or too busy to be patrolling 😉 our mall was always awesome, but they flipped out and beefed up security, posted signs and added locks 😥 great scores! nice vid. keep posting and we'll keep watching 😉😁 thumbs are way up for you over here at the 'syk ward' 👍😎👍
Cool video! I used to go through the CVS dumpster and found all kind of items sealed. My favorite time of the year was right after Halloween. CVS will trash the entire bags of candies even if they are not expired. It is good to get them at that time of the year as the chocolates will not melt! We also found some Godiva chocolates and also many health bars (some of them were just recently expired so still ok to eat, I think!).
Only tip I'm going to add that I haven't noticed, is to check the expiry date on things like the Chia pets if they are past the seeds might not sprout :p Great haul I only found you recently but enjoy your personality and share your reduce the landfill ethic :D
I wish I knew dumpster divers in my area that I could tell them when the store I work throws out boatloads of good things. They do it about 4 times a year, just thousands and thousands of perfectly good items. Clothes, accessories, toys, decor, beauty products, food, furniture, everything! One tip is if you go in store and you see racks and shelves marked down as final sale. In mine(TJMaxx) they mark them with yellow tags. A good bet would be during transition of seasons or after major holidays that would have things in holiday specific packaging. If they don't sell them before they have to change the "flow" for the new seasonal theme, anything themed of the passed season gets tossed. In my store they don't destroy many of the items either. They aren't gentle with it, but as long as it's not breakable, like glass, ceramics, it stays in decent to great condition. I always feel so bad seeing all the things they throw out. The last time was a bunch of bathing suits and beachwear, which is dumb because I live in the tropics surrounded by beaches. Next will probably be holiday decorations and gift items, as well as seasonal clothing. Then will be a ton of clothes and toys. Last time they threw out several huge boxes of educational toys, puzzles and books. If I didn't risk getting fired I would have dived for them. My mom is a teacher and she spends a lot of money on stuff like that for her students. It makes me so sad.

Please let some ppl close to u know and have them go after the stuff after u toss it out. Tell them where u placed it and they can just go grab it quickly.

But the gloves are useless, if she keeps wiping sweat off her face while still wearing gloves, and touching her glasses. Plus she can still spill liquids on her bare arms and legs. I'm surprised she hasn't picked up any skin infections. I'm sure she had an eye infection in one if her videos.
In that one hundred degrees Texas heat, it's bound to go off real quick. Plus the smell in those dumpsters, I don't know how she does it without wearing a gas mask. In a few of her other videos, she actually stands inside the dumpster, knee deep in trash, wearing a dress, with her hair neatly tied back in a ponytail. Give this woman The Nobel peace prize.

My husband and I are in the process of buying a house in North Fort Worth, so maybe one day we could go out and have some DD fun. I like that you go to apartment complexes because the other channels I follow just do dumpster diving at stores. I like seeing something different:) but you can always sprinkle in a little of everything:) love your videos, just binge watched them all today and subscribed!!!
I have heard that best buy sometimes throws out dvds or games, etc. I have tried Michael's and found an $80 watercolor paint set. I think it was a return, like one tube of paint was open , and one brush was gunky. Save up the gift cards, just an case and check a lot at once. sometimes they make a mistake and have a little money left on them. Also if you find- coke caps off the 20 ounce or 12 packs, or 2 liters, you can enter contests at coke.com and also can enter to get AMC popcorn, drinks, and movie tickets right now for 35 codes. I always look for these when diving lately, and have found a few - usually with the register trash and at Walmart near trash cans 12 packs like someone filled up their cooler. I won race tickets over the summer for Daytona. Have fun.

It froze up, a few extra ice crystals in it, but we still ate it and lived to tell the tale lol Bring a personal alarm with you, that way should anyone annoy you, just pull the cord and it will emit an ear Deafening alarm lol Staff safe and well done today x

I remember a friend and I used to dumpster dive in two grocery stores. ALL THE VEGGIES AND OTHER EDIBLES THROWN AWAY. Some in packaging, others still boxed in. You won't believe this one,MEATand/or CHICKEN STILL FROZEN AND IN BOXES! A dumpster diver told us about it and we met at the specific time bekause minutes away the trash truck would be there around half an hour away. Now, those stores don't exist. One is lottery thing and the other is another grocery store but the dumpster has a lock. All that food to waste! Our pets also benefit from the dive.
Elderberry syrup is very good for the immune system .. echinacea is also very good for that as well 👍🏻 and so glad you grabbed the ice cream (it will be just fine refreezing it 👍🏻)
Its actually a best by date not an expiration date they are two completely different things I promise you that! Chocolate lasts a VERY long time way past its best by date
I used to work at CVS and we threw out perfectly good candy just because they had holiday themed on them. We were shocked when my manager made us throw them out and we just put it in clear bags without additional trash so someone could take it if need be

I've watched lots of dumpster diving vids, and there is always a couple of people together, like mother/son, boyfriend/girlfriend, married couples, etc., but I truly love yours because you go it alone, and that gives me courage to try it! Also, a hint....there is one couple that grabs all the gift cards from the trash, and they collect a lot of them, and they call the toll free number and find out if there is a balance. They say that 50% of the store gift cards have a balance left on them! Anywhere from a few cents to a few dollars. They have even found some that were thrown away that had a large balance on them, like $50 to $100 or so dollars! 💲💲
I like when you go to the apartment dumpsters. Never know what you might find there. Several other channels do the mall dumpsters so your channel is refreshing. Keep it going!
Yeah I enjoy the apartment dumpster videos too. The student apartment videos are crazy. She finds so many cool clothes there. Abercrombie, American Eagle, Hollister, Vans etc.

Buying a backseat car cover would be easier. I use them for my dogs. Works great.
Take a couple of totes, a higher step ladder & maybe a rake to pull bags closer to you.

The dairy in the ice cream has spoiled! You can freeze them but the dairy has been compromised. Please don’t eat it.

Watch out for bedbugs ,something free isn't worth 2000 in danage
Bed bugs are actually pretty easy to kill, if they are exposed 118°f for 90 mins you kill the bugs and larva. Dryers run at temps of 125°f-130°f.

Elderberry juice is great for keeping you from getting colds or helps you get over colds sooner. I'm so jealous of the Godiva chocolate you found.

Dollar store food is iffy to begin with but dumpster Dollar store food is a big NO!
That elderberry syrup is still good. Refrigerating will increase the shelf life to about 3 months.. when it’s not refrigerated, it’ll last about a month. Elderberry syrup is good stuff. I just ordered some from this same company lol. It’s good to put into smoothies to give you that extra boost, or to just drink as is ☺️

mall dumpsters are usually the best dumpsters!! 😀 as long as that mall's security is either cool with it, or too busy to be patrolling 😉
our mall was always awesome, but they flipped out and beefed up security, posted signs and added locks 😥

Cool video! I used to go through the CVS dumpster and found all kind of items sealed. My favorite time of the year was right after Halloween. CVS will trash the entire bags of candies even if they are not expired. It is good to get them at that time of the year as the chocolates will not melt! We also found some Godiva chocolates and also many health bars (some of them were just recently expired so still ok to eat, I think!).
Live Berry Well is to be refridgarated after opening...the container was not a cold pack container! your going to love that juice.
We, love anything you decide to dive, we all learn so much and love that you enjoy diving as much as us.
Don't pass up the recycle bins! Always check them as well. The stores will put stuff in them as well! Good haul and keep diving!
Only tip I'm going to add that I haven't noticed, is to check the expiry date on things like the Chia pets if they are past the seeds might not sprout :p Great haul I only found you recently but enjoy your personality and share your reduce the landfill ethic :D
I wish I knew dumpster divers in my area that I could tell them when the store I work throws out boatloads of good things. They do it about 4 times a year, just thousands and thousands of perfectly good items. Clothes, accessories, toys, decor, beauty products, food, furniture, everything!
One tip is if you go in store and you see racks and shelves marked down as final sale. In mine(TJMaxx) they mark them with yellow tags.
A good bet would be during transition of seasons or after major holidays that would have things in holiday specific packaging.
If they don't sell them before they have to change the "flow" for the new seasonal theme, anything themed of the passed season gets tossed.
In my store they don't destroy many of the items either. They aren't gentle with it, but as long as it's not breakable, like glass, ceramics, it stays in decent to great condition.
I always feel so bad seeing all the things they throw out. The last time was a bunch of bathing suits and beachwear, which is dumb because I live in the tropics surrounded by beaches. Next will probably be holiday decorations and gift items, as well as seasonal clothing. Then will be a ton of clothes and toys.
Last time they threw out several huge boxes of educational toys, puzzles and books. If I didn't risk getting fired I would have dived for them. My mom is a teacher and she spends a lot of money on stuff like that for her students. It makes me so sad.

Please let some ppl close to u know and have them go after the stuff after u toss it out. Tell them where u placed it and they can just go grab it quickly.

I'm so happy to see you wearing gloves. You never know what body fluids might be in a dumpster. Ithink you're very careful when you don't use gloves, but much safer when you do. I love your videos and watch all of them. You are a very brave and adventurous young. Lady🌺😊🌺 be safe and happy!!
But the gloves are useless, if she keeps wiping sweat off her face while still wearing gloves, and touching her glasses. Plus she can still spill liquids on her bare arms and legs. I'm surprised she hasn't picked up any skin infections. I'm sure she had an eye infection in one if her videos.

In that one hundred degrees Texas heat, it's bound to go off real quick. Plus the smell in those dumpsters, I don't know how she does it without wearing a gas mask. In a few of her other videos, she actually stands inside the dumpster, knee deep in trash, wearing a dress, with her hair neatly tied back in a ponytail. Give this woman The Nobel peace prize.

I have heard that best buy sometimes throws out dvds or games, etc. I have tried Michael's and found an $80 watercolor paint set. I think it was a return, like one tube of paint was open , and one brush was gunky. Save up the gift cards, just an case and check a lot at once. sometimes they make a mistake and have a little money left on them. Also if you find- coke caps off the 20 ounce or 12 packs, or 2 liters, you can enter contests at coke.com and also can enter to get AMC popcorn, drinks, and movie tickets right now for 35 codes. I always look for these when diving lately, and have found a few - usually with the register trash and at Walmart near trash cans 12 packs like someone filled up their cooler. I won race tickets over the summer for Daytona. Have fun.

As for the ice cream. I’ve purchased ice cream and stuck it in the freezer because it was starting to really thaw. It froze up, a few extra ice crystals in it, but we still ate it and lived to tell the tale lol

It’s ultimately up to the individual like myself if they want to take a chance on melted ice cream. On this occasion I was ok but the next time I could be unlucky and become unwell.

I remember a friend and I used to dumpster dive in two grocery stores. ALL THE VEGGIES AND OTHER EDIBLES THROWN AWAY. Some in packaging, others still boxed in. You won't believe this one,MEATand/or CHICKEN STILL FROZEN AND IN BOXES! A dumpster diver told us about it and we met at the specific time bekause minutes away the trash truck would be there around half an hour away. Now, those stores don't exist. One is lottery thing and the other is another grocery store but the dumpster has a lock. All that food to waste! Our pets also benefit from the dive.
I would put all that stuff in the trunk and not the car. It will keep your car cleaner.
Hangers don't take them for granted needed useful and usable over and over again.
Elderberry syrup is very good for the immune system .. echinacea is also very good for that as well 👍🏻

The reason the Godiva was tossed? Look at the expiration date, Sept 2019. I'm sure still good but can't be sold. Love Godiva!

Its actually a best by date not an expiration date they are two completely different things I promise you that! Chocolate lasts a VERY long time way past its best by date

I used to work at CVS and we threw out perfectly good candy just because they had holiday themed on them. We were shocked when my manager made us throw them out and we just put it in clear bags without additional trash so someone could take it if need be

I've watched lots of dumpster diving vids, and there is always a couple of people together, like mother/son, boyfriend/girlfriend, married couples, etc., but I truly love yours because you go it alone, and that gives me courage to try it! Also, a hint....there is one couple that grabs all the gift cards from the trash, and they collect a lot of them, and they call the toll free number and find out if there is a balance. They say that 50% of the store gift cards have a balance left on them! Anywhere from a few cents to a few dollars. They have even found some that were thrown away that had a large balance on them, like $50 to $100 or so dollars! 💲💲

Yeah I enjoy the apartment dumpster videos too. The student apartment videos are crazy. She finds so many cool clothes there. Abercrombie, American Eagle, Hollister, Vans etc.
