Your video is what started my misery lol, I was in a snow drought mid-feb this past winter and watched your video, I wished that I could get some snow like you did, well wishes were answered 3/2 with 18", 3/6 with 26", 3/21 with 12" and 4/2 with 8" just thought I would share the power of your video.
Dis this guy all you want, he is getting the job done with the equipment he has. This is coming from a Dodge Diesel guy with a 8.5" western plow. It is imperative to have good equipment, but you also need a good operator to get the job done!!!
If you allow down a little bit you wont get as much plow hop and it will take less passes. And it will be a lot less wear and tear on that beautiful rig of yours
You could use a bigger plow - taller and heavier. Also, slow down with the plow you have. Above all, put about 2000lbs + of weight in the back of the truck. You'll thank me for the suggestion. (Dodge 3500 SRW Diesel - 8' snoway with wings and down pressure. I've gone with over 4000lbs before)
Well he is plowing at the road. I see so many people with plows on trks and no strobe light and people with backblades installed and no aux tail lights installed higher up so since he is plowing im glad he has the strobe running
i see no strobe light. i saw an LED mini light bar warning light. strobes are xenon tubes. some of which come in light bars, beacons, or hideaways. a halogen rotating light is just that. a halogen bulb with a reflector housing that revolves around creating a flash. An LED comes in many different varieties but is not a strobe
First mistake was buying a Ford . Ram 3500 Cummins Dually would blow this Ford away . You can put an 8 and half ft plow on this truck and plow 26 “ of snow EASYLY . With CHAINS on you could plow 32” of snow ! 400 bhp with 1000 lbs torque and 4:10 gears there is a reason they call it the KING of towing for 3500 series !
