We actually didn't know which one we should do, we saw the Mangroves tour, but we went for this one instead. When we go back one day, we will need to go on this one too :)
2:50 Tne island hopping trip usually starts/leaves the jetty roughly around 10am to 10:30am. I think when they mentioned 9am, most probably from the time they pick you up at the hotel. The boats don't usually go out at 9am as it is too early.
Hello, that would make sense :) The driver apologised for being late and said it was really busy because of the holidays. So, we were not so sure what time they initially wanted to come and get us.
We went in January/February, and it was dry. Just checked on the Internet, and it says that September is not ideal to visit due to heavy rainfall. Not so sure about car rentals, you can easily rent some scooters. Sorry, we mainly used the app Grab for taxi to travel to places.
We were amazed by all its beautiful sceneries, so many islands! We were not aware of its duty-free status, and we only realised when we got there, with all the shops. Thank you for watching :)
@@sylvieanddanny you need to spend some time on the east coast of Malaysia where are are more islands to visited (Pulau Perhentian, Pulau Redang, Pulau Kapas and Pulau Tioman-you can Google all these islands) Or go to Sabah especially to Semporna where the islands is said to be better than tmThe Maldives
@@khairulidris4590 We've just spent some time in beautiful Semporna, it will be our next video :) We would love to see the rest of Sabah, and the East Coast too. We will plan this at some point

I went to Langkawi back in Jan 2017 and did this tour which was good but I actually thought the Mangroves Tour was better
