Serious issues you have addressed briliantly . This are major issues.
Honda has its quality outside India. They have well estimated Indians and they know where to reduce their manufacturing costs by sacrificing the quality. Most of we Indians are evaluating bikes on its aesthetics only and not on quality. The companies know this and they are taking advantage of it.
We Indians must be more attentive towards quality.

I didn't get any of these problems what you have said except that repsol edition stickering problem that's why I bought standard edition grey it looks simply awesome👌🏽 after watching your video I checked some simple problems like head light doom coming out I tried to do what you have done its very hard to come out, no oil leakage.
The thing is Repsol Edition is Waste of Money...Buy Normal one ...its not that bad

My gixxer just passed 60000 km last month still strong as rock good bike good quality
i have hornet160R (2017 model). i have ridden 57000 Km so far. Engine still works like a charm. No rattling issue with body parts. Still smooth and vibrations free even at high speeds. no maintenance, only regular service. however, the chain loses quite often and another issue is silencer rusting (poor quality). Apart from it, i have never regreted buying this bike.

I have Honda hornet 2.0 and tbh till now I have not got a single problem with the bike. Not even the smallest of the problems except one time I had issue with the chain. Aside from that my purchase has been really good as per me. I think maybe your bike itself had some issue or that particular batch did. Because I was actually surprised to see how well my bike has held up till now.

@@omkar_markad yes bro they I sent a mail to Honda customer care I'm going consumer court to complaint about Honda showroom in my city they came from Honda to my nearest Honda showroom to solve my complaint they said don't go anywhere they enquire about my problem replace the part in my bike without any charges
Before complaint they ask to pay 8 thousand rupees to pay for their fault
After agent came from Honda headoffice they checked my bike and replaced the part free of cost
Very good and detailed video. Thanks for coming out in open with these issues of hornet 2.0. Yesterday I took a test drive of this bike. Overall the bike is good but nobody will buy a bike eyes closed. I will wait for Honda India to acknowledge these issues.

The problems which you stated about the built quality is absolute rubbish. I own the bike and I have no issues regarding built quality. The bike is very smooth and I recommend you to reconsider your statements. It may be that the problems are particularly in your bike. Specially the starter works perfectly even in the condition you showed is not working. I bought it two months prior to you.
But I also strongly agree on the gear padel nut issue. I faced the issue on the second day of buying the bike.
The same oil leakage issue near oil filler cap is also present in my unicorn 150 bs 4. The entire cap has been replaced many times, but still the leakage persist. This issue is regular in Honda's bikes and scooters.

Yes same issue with my shine 2016 model. Still there is leakage after so may o rings changes. Now I am forced to apply glue on it..
These foreign companies now take indian consumers for granted look how they are concerned with american european customers.

( Oil issue I think is normal when winter but not sure )
( one big question can thay give display or test bike to you as selling bike check it fist because thay all bike are mostly QC test are not done on that type of bike )

Every bike has more or less problems still Unicorn best but too price in it's segment i personally suggest go for Fz V3 Bs6 or Apache 160 4V if you want more power 🔥🔥

I am thinking about purchasing this bike should I purchase it or not....? I will use this bike for field job I have to drive 45km daily in the city. Now it's been a 7 years I am using pulsar 220 it is very tough decision to take to switch from pulsar 220 to 180cc engine but now I'm focusing on average and smooth performance bike Any suggestions please let me know 😊

Service centre engineers are not well trained by honda. Not ejucated untrained mechanics are found in service centre scratched my activa feel bad

That engine oil Leak is because there's a stuff inside that oil case which needs to be fit properly and the neutral switch is also linked to that, if its not fixed properly all these issues happen. You will have pickup issues and smoothness issues. Service centre guys can fix it. Looks like you got a bike that has manufacturing issue. The BS4 bike that I have have no issues till date. BS6 may have some manufacturing issues.
Even the carbon tank pad will look like shit in few months

It’s a good bike but test ride the BS6 model of Yamaha FZS because of performance aspects. You can also try out FZ25 as it’s price has decreased and now falls in same price range as Hornet 2.0

I am also a hornet 2.0 owner... I've purchased it on 14th oct..after riding around 500 km faced starting problem in the middle of the road... after complain they changed a STARTING SENSOR😭

my fzs 2.0 after 89000km runing never face any problem..
I've completed over 3,100 kms. Facing same issues. No permanent solution from service center till now. I would rather recommend to buy X Blade.

Even I faced so many issues with first generation Hornet.
Most irony part is they won't address issues and they won't agree if vehicle is a defective piece.
Being a common man it is very difficult to fight with these people.
Only option we have is OLX or Quicker.
My own definition of Honda Hornet: on paper it is most powerful but in reality it is useless with under power.
Now I am a happy owner of Suzuki gixxer.
Suzuki is really good in terms of build quality

I was about to buy this bike before I decided to go for apache rtr 200 4v new edition blue color. Glad I went for it. It is very powerful in fact too powerful for commuting on our roads but I am loving it
I am new honda hornet 2.0 repsol edition owner. I bought this bike on 15feb2021. I think that most of the issues have been improved by honda but the problem with gear box & breaks still persist.

I have hornet 2.0 repsol.
Problems being faced by me.
1. Bike gets off in 3rd gear when spead is slow.
2. False Neutral while shifting from top to lower gear.
3. Gear leaver fell while riding ( Got it fixed by honda).
For 1, try changing keyset under warranty.

Maine recently hornet liya hai, aur abhi tak bas ek hi issue face kiya hai jo ki wo gear read nahi kar paata, ye actually hota hai kabhi kabhi, but mujhe lagta hai iss baar Honda ne bike ki quality ko seriously nahi liya, unko laga ki log to Honda ko reliable maante hai khareed lenge, aur jeisa v bana do bik jayega, but I guess thoda better quality, aur kuch features missing hai. At least kuch useful indicators ya oil cooling to dena hi chahiye, headlights v thodi weak hai, baki bike ki performance achhi hai, abhi tak koi bada issue nahi hua

Brother I bought 390 adv and it has many more problems engine cuts off in 3rd and 4th gear in any speed when you press clutch and the company is not able to solve..If I rev it hard it says low oil pressure..

@@gajendrad Register a complaint on Honda customer care number and don’t let them service your bike without you. Some service centres are using glue around the cap to stop the leakage

Honda rules about perfection is out side of India. I purchase activa 5g. And I also have same kind of quality issues. Showroom are worst. Company reply even more worst. So now I make one rules, never buy Honda vehicle. Go with Indian manufacturers Bajaj, hero and TVs. There quality far better then honda.
bro you are making video thats good but yeah i think your bike is faulty or i think most all the repsol edition are.. cz i havent saw any this type of faults in any other ownership reviews even they are giving review after 3-4 months with red or black colour or blue meta.. i have the same metalic blue bike and its been month and havent face any of this probems engine protector have some play but yeah you can screw and tight it otherwise my bike dont have any issues

Oil leakage, Disc Brack heat up and not working, Gear lever Nut loosen, headlight low deam automatically, this are properly Manufacturers Default problems. Specifically Fix spot nut supposed to be welded, I have 200NS Bajaj did weld Nuts on Chassi for fitting so many bolts.
