Comparing to compition right now hornet only needs three things to be upgraded right now
1) Dual Channel ABS
2) Oil cooled or liquid cool
3) 4v or change it to clearly 200-50 cc

Why do people love dual channel abs so much and also oil cooling is shit trust me and also this bike doesn't overheat as such
The bike doesn't sell much because it doesn't have dual channel ABS and oil cooling. Honda won't give 4V without 6th gear in a bike because it will affect the mileage at highway and the bike just doesn't feel relaxed at high speeds without a 6th gear even with 4V oil cooling tech . Why i said oil cooling because this engine has had lots of issues with overheating and oil leaking and internals of engine getting damaged due to stock engine oil and air cooling tech which doesn't help in peak traffic hours.
Even now when the latest hornet 2.0 came with RDE norms compliant engine honda didn't give it dual channel ABS but instead gave it slipper clutch which is completely unnecessary because it doesn't justify the price of 1.39 lakhs ex showroom without dual channel ABS . They are really not studying the competition because even Bajaj is offering dual channel ABS to NS200,N160,NS160 and N250. Same for yamaha which is offering Dual channel ABS and traction control on MT-15 on their latest iterations.

This bike is notorious for engine oil leaks, sometimes from dip stick, sometimes from the gear lever side and sometimes from the cylinder head !!!!@😥😥😥 this is the one and only fear that stops me to buy this beauty !!!! ....I adore the shangrila red color though !!@😍😍
