Stephanie I cried when you answeredme. I would be a hoarder if I lived in Florida. I have seen Oliver bring arm loads of shells to the little red wagon.lol thank you for bringing a different side of shelling to some who can get to the ocean enough. I have been to Florida and went to 2 beaches. I found 1 sharks eye and a couple baby scallops . I cried. I want to find shells. Keep up The great hunting and commentary.

The murex is gorgeous...perfect And the whelks were so colorful...what a great foggy day and the tun or scotch bonnet...r u all cutting back on your shells... I know you said u were leaving some..yes, I love the orange color inside...you all have had a great day..the bonnet or tun is delicate...glad it made it in

Beautiful shells some need dunked in acid for 3 to 5 seconds but so cool. I am 62 years old and would love to come down and shell with you . I had to move into an appointment for people that have Health problems so I gave away my prise sea shells from Guam. My Dad was in the airforce . I miss them the shells I had.

I live in Laramie Wyoming and saying land locked does not even touch it! I love watching you too together and shelling. I love looking for shells. Thanks for a a wonderful virtual beach whelk, in my area we find nothing, but when I travel the 1000 plus miles to visit a beach, I love to collect whatever is along the shore at that time! You two are a blessing to those of us who live a long way from the coast, but love to beach comb when we get the chance!

My daughter, Bella, and I watch every week. We are in Pennsylvania, so the beach is only a yearly trip for us. We are hopeful that some day we will find a gorgeous whelk shell, too! Until then, we watch you guys find these beautiful shells for us up North.! Than you for sharing.

Hi Guys, If I had been on this shelling trip I'm afraid I would have opted to pitch a tent when the sun went down and start over again in the morning!! That LACE murex?? WOW!! I'm a shell hoarder,I've collected from the beach to yard sales,flea markets ,to buying brand new shells,but of my conch collection, it's my favorite, 1st fell in love with them,when I lived in Keywest,fl. Got some conch there and my youngest son was born there,makes him a native conch .oh I just subscribed..

I'm like y'all though because the blue ones are absolutely gorgeous. Do y'all ever use acid to clean them? Are y'all able to sell any of them? What do y'all do with them? Thank you! Stephanie knows we have to cut back. LOL! Even I loved the shirts but they were not holding up. After a few washings the vinyl was peeling off. The only thing holding up was the pants Stephanie's wearing. I think Steph took all the shirts off because we don't want anyone buying them and getting disappointed. That's how we are. We'll have to see what else we can come up with. Sorry, I'm very disappointed myself.

Those are amazing! Good for you, I love all the welks also. My husband & I just got back from Sanibel Island, we found lots of different smaller shells nothing like yours. I found part of a junonia, a true tulip, & really pretty lace murex. Thanks for sharing your videos & God bless you both.
I am a shell hoarder!! OMG that tun is amazing such a lucky find they rarely make it to shore in one piece. I am in love with that Olive that Oliver found the colors are so beautiful. I also would be picking up ALL the little whelks they are so beautiful displayed in a big glass jar. I have 2 full of small whelks found here in NC.
I would love to have one of the knob welks in my home. The colors are amazing!! In our neck of the woods we dont have shells, we hunt for beautiful stones. Thank you for taking us along with you!
Thank you for sharing this! It was so nice to virtually shell w/you and those finds - WOW!!! We've vacationed in Hilton Head, Myrtle Beach, and have been to NC's OBX a few times. With the exception of Myrtle Beach where I focused on shark teeth, the whelks are common in the places I've gotten to shell. I never found a murex or a tun, but did find my first queen helmet @ Cape Lookout, NC, last May. My main reason for commenting is that I have to say this is one of the best quality shelling videos I've seen. Very clear and didn't make me dizzy zooming the camera around too fast as a lot of shelling videos seem to do. So glad I found your video, just subscribed and looking forward to more.
Looks like the foggy day payed off! The murex was a giant eastern murex, you can rule out all the other murex shells just by size. The other ones don't get anywhere near the size of the one you found! And the other stellar find was indeed a giant tun snail. I've heard they can get up to 10 inches in length, and I can hardly imagine one that huge! Thanks for sharing!
Yeah it did! That murex is awesome & definitely one of our favorite finds. It is in such great condition compared to the other murex that size that we have found. That giant tun shell was a bucket list find for me! I knew as soon as I seen that it was filled with water that it was likely not broken & was sooooooo ecstatic as you could tell. :) No I can not image a 10 inch one, oh my gosh, I would go crazy! My daughter, Bella, and I watch every week. We are in Pennsylvania, so the beach is only a yearly trip for us. We are hopeful that some day we will find a gorgeous whelk shell, too! Until then, we watch you guys find these beautiful shells for us up North.! Than you for sharing.

Oh I'm glad you felt the excitement, that was one of our best beachcombing days ever! We are in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. 👋 Our public beaches don't have much, as far as real shell collecting. 😌 Wonderful beaches none the less. 🏖🌊 But occasionally we get lucky like on this day & find some beautiful treasures out on some of the barrier islands that are only accessible by boat. 🚤⛵ Thanks so much for watching and commenting! 🌊🐚💙

I'm a shell hoarder,I've collected from the beach to yard sales,flea markets ,to buying brand new shells,but of my conch collection, it's my favorite, 1st fell in love with them,when I lived in Keywest,fl. Got some conch there and my youngest son was born there,makes him a native conch

I live on the Pacific ocean and its the Cockle shell that's poplar. I would say that one shell is a Lace Merix. Thank you for your show.

I don't believe I would be able to leave any of them. I'm like y'all though because the blue ones are absolutely gorgeous. Do y'all ever use acid to clean them? Are y'all able to sell any of them? What do y'all do with them? I'd have my whole property covered in them.

Thank you! Stephanie knows we have to cut back. LOL! Even I loved the shirts but they were not holding up. After a few washings the vinyl was peeling off. The only thing holding up was the pants Stephanie's wearing. I think Steph took all the shirts off because we don't want anyone buying them and getting disappointed. That's how we are. We'll have to see what else we can come up with. Sorry, I'm very disappointed myself.

Those are amazing! Good for you, I love all the welks also. My husband & I just got back from Sanibel Island, we found lots of different smaller shells nothing like yours. I found part of a junonia, a true tulip, & really pretty lace murex. Thanks for sharing your videos & God bless you both.

I am a shell hoarder!! OMG that tun is amazing such a lucky find they rarely make it to shore in one piece. I am in love with that Olive that Oliver found the colors are so beautiful. I also would be picking up ALL the little whelks they are so beautiful displayed in a big glass jar. I have 2 full of small whelks found here in NC.

Thank you for sharing this! It was so nice to virtually shell w/you and those finds - WOW!!! We've vacationed in Hilton Head, Myrtle Beach, and have been to NC's OBX a few times. With the exception of Myrtle Beach where I focused on shark teeth, the whelks are common in the places I've gotten to shell. I never found a murex or a tun, but did find my first queen helmet @ Cape Lookout, NC, last May. My main reason for commenting is that I have to say this is one of the best quality shelling videos I've seen. Very clear and didn't make me dizzy zooming the camera around too fast as a lot of shelling videos seem to do. So glad I found your video, just subscribed and looking forward to more.

Looks like the foggy day payed off! The murex was a giant eastern murex, you can rule out all the other murex shells just by size. The other ones don't get anywhere near the size of the one you found! And the other stellar find was indeed a giant tun snail. I've heard they can get up to 10 inches in length, and I can hardly imagine one that huge! Thanks for sharing!
Yeah it did! That murex is awesome & definitely one of our favorite finds. It is in such great condition compared to the other murex that size that we have found. That giant tun shell was a bucket list find for me! I knew as soon as I seen that it was filled with water that it was likely not broken & was sooooooo ecstatic as you could tell. :) No I can not image a 10 inch one, oh my gosh, I would go crazy! Thanks so much for watching!
