Hey there Julian, love the topics you bring out for discussion. A question of my own, do you think window visors bring a huge disadvantage in the car's aerodynamics?
I have several of your books on my coffee table and looking to add another. Does this book supersede your "Modifying the aerodynamics of your road car" book from 2018?
Yes, the new book supersedes the 2018 book. Far more examples; new measuring techniques that are more accurate; lots more input from professional car aerodynamacists,; and it now covers trucks, trailers and ultra low drag vehicles.
Have you found a distributor for airfoils? Oz wind engineering is still down. Only things i can think of now is getting a reproduction wrx sti wing and cutting it up, or getting a $50 ebay wing and taking it apart to see if its a real airfoil (which I am doubtful of)
Thank you so much! I'm a highschool student and this just inspired me to write my extended essay on aerodynamics. Love your videos!
Best of luck!

On side windows? I've never tested them but I'd imagine a little. Test them yourself - 5 minutes with tufts.

Flow Viz video next!
Never had good results with it.
Another video from RUclips handful of aerodynamics based channels!

Oz Wind Engineering website works for me. I haven't found the extrusion available anywhere else in the world.
Have you tried 3d printing airfoil?
@@JulianEdgar the website works fine, but their ebay page has nothing on it
@@shareitall1011 I dont have access to a 3d printer, much less one huge enough to do a wing
Just write straight to them - they will sell direct.
