I test rode one of these thinking that I wouldn't like it and I was blown away by the lightness and the fact that it is so comfortable for a supersport!!!!
I've owned the B1 model 636(the 1st with radial brakes and usd forks)and it was a crazy little bike and awsome for wheelies then i traded that in for the newer c1(1st under seat exhaust)and that was a better road bike,a little softer which was also a good bike, then i went the R1 route 03 model and i loved it but went back to Kawasaki and bought a c1 05 zx10r which is a complete animal with a few mods, power commander, full Sato ex. system and filter and it puts out 178.8bhp at the back wheel. I went down 1 tooth at the front and this thing clutches up in 4th gear at 100mph so the GPR damper was the best investment ever.lol...really wanting the 2011-present zx10r but wife not having it but will enjoy another summer on the beast just for now.
I have had mine for one year and its dropped a valve and destroyed the engine. Thats just normal road riding. Thankyou Kawasaki! What a pile of rubbish!!!!!!
I'm a frequent long distance tourer and two seperate zx636 '06 that this one rider had broke down on two seperate rides. My z1000 '08 havent given me a problem though and its 7yrs old done about 76000km. guess the 600 are just rubbish
