Yo. Just for future reference, pokemon that have 2 types, like Bug/Steel apply the weaknesses and resistances of both types. For example, you are correct that Flying is super effective to Bug, but Steel also resists Flying, so the weakness and resistance cancel each other out. So when Forretress gets hit with a Flying type move, it will only take neutral damage. Notice how both types are considered before damage effectiveness is calculated? Paying attention to a pokemon's dual typing will help you to guage what move is best to use against it. Hope this helps! And good luck in the E4!
