There could be no denying that Beppi was doing the whole "clown" thing wrong. The water in a squirting flower wasn't meant to be scalding. Pies weren't intended to have bricks in them. And balloon animals certainly had _no_ business biting people. Beppi couldn't keep a job very long, but who needed to work? He just wanted somewhere he could play, forever and ever. The devil came to Beppi in his time of trouble and offered him a place where he could play whenever he wished. The clown accepted with no hesitation and was granted a grand fairground where he could play as much as his heart desired, but when the time came to collect the clown's soul, Beppi led the devil into the hall of mirrors. By the time the devil had come out, Beppi had fled, another name on the devil's growing list of runaway debtors.

Beppi missed the good old days when screaming children, covered in cotton candy, would run up to him and ask him for balloon animals or a joke or two. Alas, those days were long gone and all he had were his memories. Who could blame him for agreeing to trade his soul when the Devil strolled up one day and offered him the keys to a carnival where the fun would never stop. Beppi snatched the keys and bounced off in a hurry. Oh, how the children would laugh...

This is good, but I like SonicTheDestroyer's version, which is similar, but makes Beppi out to be this incompetent clown whose clown schticks (like the squirting flower, the pie in the face, and the balloon animals) all turn out bad due to either stupidity or the fact that Beppi may be a sociopath (the squirting flower squirting scalding water, the pies he threw at people had bricks in them, and the balloon animals bit people and scared children).

The jazzy music did very well at keeping me from getting frustrated, it was so relaxing.
My strategy:
Don’t bother with the penguins. When they throw baseballs at you, just dodge, keep your focus on Beppi. The roller coaster will deal with the penguins for you.
Actually, what worked for me was using my full special to take out the penguins. If you aim it correctly, you not only take out the penguins, but damage the boss as well. This allowed me extra time to finish off the boss before he could summon them again. Before, I was hopeless in dodging the baseballs. I just couldn't do it. This technique allowed me to barely survive the fight. I'm certainly never replaying this boss again.

His laugh in his final form actually creeped me out the first time I saw this. Wasn't expecting him to come back up when he literally fell off broken and crying
By this time you should have known that the boss fight isn't over until the knockout.

This boss has a real "Ren and Stimpy" feel to it.
I was thinking more Cow and Chicken (the less gross, but still morally dubious equivalent that aired on Cartoon Network in the 1990s).
I'm literally having so much fun just going frame by frame looking at Beppi and the way he's animated. There are some good motion smears

When hes on the horse just go under him when the roller coaster isn't there and shoot upward with the spreadshot. It takes him out a lot faster and then into the last phase.
zshould have thought of that before I already beat him, that phase has given me a really hard time.
I accidentally found out about that exploit when I sneezed during the roller coaster and it sent me to the side.
A-yup. If you're lucky he'll move onto the next phase before the roller coaster can make a single pass.

For the 3rd stage of the boss fight (the one where he's on the horse) I used the spreader and sat right under him just using it. Was much more efficient and when the coaster wasn't there it was very safe

The boomerang bullets are the best thing to use in Beppi The Clown. Especially on the second stage. The dog balloons come at you from besides and foward. The bullets will hit the animals. Also the smoke bomb.
The animation at the beggining with the bumper car is so fuckinh good!!!! The detail with his tongue when he wiggles in the bumper car really completes the animation for me, like they 100% could have gotten away without it but they actively chose to animate that little detail and it just blows me away

Here some reasons why the clown is in the devil wish
1.He hate how he a outcast to the other clowns and decided to murder them
2. He just a killer clown
This boss so far took me the longest to beat with 20-30
Minutes and Ended up with A+
It all comes down to muscle memory
Can we have a 20 minute loop of beppi laughing?
Seeing the penguins get ran over by that rollercoaster is satisfying
The first 2 phases are a piece of cake but the parts that are straight bullshit is when you have to get on the roller coaster while dodging the horseshoes and also the very LAST PART! Like how in the fuck do they expect you to dodge the baseballs and also watch out for the incoming roller coaster? Like fuck it was so satisfying when you defeated his punk ass at the end..
ol ALEXKING lo I jumped onto the coaster in the horse part just to get shot by the yellow horse shoes. That was always fun.

I'm a very patient person, but this is the only boss in the game I got mad at. Each of his 4 phases has 1 or more things that make it annoying and a toss up of randomness. He is difficult for all the wrong reasons. Imo he's the only bad boss in the game, I love every other fight.

There's this actor, you might know him from "Joker" or "Waco"- his name is Glenn Flesher. Anyways, anytime I see him on screen I just start yelling "BEPE, BEPE THE CLOWN!" and I think he should play Beppi in the live action adaptation of "Cuphead"

usually when i play i can get him into his second stage right when the music starts getting all good and intense
considering he was still in bumper car mode when the music happened i got like mildly upset

Fun fact: you can predict when the train is going to come by looking at the background, you can see the train coming in the background before it appears in your face

To be honest, it took me a couple tries to beat him, but then I got him and now he’s super easy to me. He wasn’t really much of a challenge in my opinion

I just started playing this game 5 days ago and then I went to isle two and started with beppi the best weapon is roundabout cause it has SOOOO mush coverage .
Tip for anybody who hasn't fought this boss, if the train is gone and the horse comes back to the left side, just hide under the horse, you can get so many good shots off and take off 75% of the stage's health if you use the 5 shot me being the idiot that I was didn't realize this until like a good 50 fails
tip: when the green horse (and yellow) pop up, get under it and shoot up. i found this as an easier way to deal more damage, and the attacks can't hurt you.
