Yeah RB20's just like big exhausts, 2.5 inch is basically the same as the restrictive stock ceff, lozz exhaust and will kill boost response even without mufflers. May as well just run a blast pipe out the side straight from the dump and send it ;)

you dont have to times flexiguage measurements by 2, your measuring the clearance between the journal and the bearing... you need to divide by 2 if you measured the journals and bearings with micrometer and dial bore guage
I believe plastigauge have actually accounted for only measuring half the clearance so x2 is not necessary. But you do not divide by 2 when measuring the correct way with micrometer ect.

my god what the F dodgy engine build, you are aware putting washers on the rod bolt will fuck up the balance changing balancer the bottom end should have been rebalanced you should have sent the rod bolts back and put the correct one for it

Same here bro not knocking Jesse's knowledge or skills but I'd rather empty a catch can regularly than pull a motor to do rings an bearings regularly. Especially since the 20s love 9000rpm hahahaha
Yup 100% agree, running 22 thou on my barra motor, NA low compression atomic block, ready for vortech v3-hb and nos.
Better to have blow by and a catch can than a ceased motor.
