- The cursed RB20 swapped AU Falcon strikes again.. We took it to the dyno to see how much power we could make but ran into more problems. We do managed to get it fixed though! But now we are faced with a new problem.

You guys should look into building a replica 'Group A Gibson Motorsports r31 skyline - RB20DET-R equal length tubular manifold, or atleast look at the road going RB20DET-R tubular manifold. Worth it's weight in gold but sound will absolutely melt your face.

An RB20DE, DET are 8:5:1.
But apparently the head gaskets although very different aswell as the heads are same thickness - would this mean the Neo motors run different pistons an would that introduce head/valve breathing issues cos ur motor has a custom reet recipe
It’s been a while but from memory those neo 20 heads flow terribly and there’s also no cams available for them.
It might get up to 10k but it probably won’t make power up there lol
Stock hydraulic 20 head with big cams and springs will do 8.5k every day, just make sure the sumps got enough capacity to not suck dry🤙
It's the intake manifold that's the issue. The head itself has larger open inlet ports with a sharper recessed divider, along with solid lifters and vct.
Compared to silvertop rb20de/t with small split round ports and hydraulic lifters.
Duel runner intake y pipe is restrictive, the y pipe has a valve inside for low rpm long runner operation and high rpm short runner. It's only good for economy and emissions.
Then the 6 intake manifold runners themselfs bolt to a plate that has a 'swirl flap' in each port, again for emissions and economy. These flaps are a joke of a restriction. The intake ports on the head are large and open so that the flaps can open up into them.
Exhaust side is identical to rb20/25det etc.
Lucky the taco doesnt work so e know ya doing the speed limit lol. love it
