wait the fun fact is true because at the slight end Caine brings kaufmo to the cellar and fixes ragatha, Caine says he’s sorry that he lied about the exit and the exit was real but it was unfinished and he didn’t know what to put. So that proves the fact is true

If you don’t get it, in Little Runmo, Runmo gets consumed by the TEMP king and there’s a gameshow in there. And in this show, Zooble gets swallowed by the Gloink King, so Kinger asked if there was a game show there.

14:35 Something I’ve learnt from years of having to deal with crappy people is that that kind of behaviour is usually some kind of coping mechanism or distraction from other things.
People that act like that and treat others like crap are usually going through alot mentally and just don’t know how to express it, so they resort to this kind of behaviour to make themselves feel like that have control, that they are better then what they are. And given the situation these characters are in, it’s understandable, but in my opinion dosent excuse how crappy his treatment of his friends/inmates are.
There's also a theory about him being a jerk to make sure he doesn't go insane. Kinger and Ragatha were confirmed to live the longest and second longest in the circus and both of them kinda have their own way to stay further from being insane. Kinger is crazy and forgetful, this caused him to forget about the exit while Ragatha is optimistic and tries to stay positive no matter what. She definitely think before act just to keep her sane. Gangle and Zooble doesn't have anykind of cope mechanism yet as of now. Plus, Zooble is confirmed to be the newest one before Pomni. Judging from Gangle act without worrying about the exit or going insane, she probably arrived after Jax

as in, she just acts however her current mask looks and doesn't bother thinking about it. She just let herself become a character. When the comedy mask is on, she's 'happy,' when the tragedy mask is on, she's 'sad.' She just lets them decide for her so she doesn't have to.

I like your headcannon for Jax. With him actually really trying to find a way out while putting up a facade. It would explain why he has all those keys to their rooms. And probably keys to other areas… hmm…
He's totally putting up with everything so he wouldn't abstract aswell, like a total distraction.
Like honestly ragatha is trying too hard to stay sain, so if she goes to her room, alone for her thoughs she might end up as kofmou (idk how to write his name??) So annoying her with a centipede that may or may not be there does more good than harm. And so on .

Ragatha studied to become a lawyer or something like that and dreamed of becoming a mentor and to pass her knowledge onto someone else, but she needed experience she could get from an office job. When she started working there for experience. But then, she found some strange headset, she then decided to put it on and ended up in the digital circus

Zooble was a young adult with a bad attitude and had 0 filter. Because of her bad attitude, she usually made the interviewers not like her and they rejected her and struggled to find A job, but then her last resort was a boring old office Job, surprisingly they accepted her. And one day when she was bored she found an old headset, since she was bored she put it on and got trapped in the digital circus (I had no idea with this one lol)

Kinger: kinger was a middle age man that used to be very rich with his wife (the other chess peice person on the door in the hallway scene next to kinger), but one day somehow their riches got taken away and they struggled to get money, but then kinger and his wife found a office job that would provide enough money, but while they were working they found some strange headset, kinger decided to put in on and got teleported to the digital circus along with his wife (sorry if this one's a bit bad I just woke up)

About your question on what Jax is, my own headcanon (which I'll call Meld Theory), all the humans who entered their characters eventually melded to that character's personality. This means that Jax is overly sarcastic because that's how his character is played in the circus! He's a jokester! To his benefit, or to his downfall.
There's also an indication that Jax might be a sociopath, given his lack of remorse for his actions, and empathy for Pomni's plight.
@@kentonjen8475I personally believe that his indifference is a mask to hide his own despair. By laughing at others problems he therefore ignores his own.
All the characters there seem to have their methods of coping with the situation. Ragatha forces herself to be overly positive, dangle literally wears a mask of happiness (though a very fragile mask as have been shown), Kaufmo seems to have used humor to cope (even though he evidently wasn’t that funny), that abstract woman (forgot her name) seems to just like Jax wear a mask of indifference and Kinger is disassociating himself from reality and retreating into his safe space within his mind.
@Huckjusta So? Sociopaths can get angry. The idea that sociopaths are emotionless is a myth (psychopaths are the emotionless ones), and while they do fake human emotions as a manipulation tactic, they are still capable of feeling some semblance of feelings like love, anger, and fear.

*Episode 2 begins right from where we left off. The whole time everyone is eating, Pomni stares off into space, trying to make sense of this reality, or rather, virtual reality. Jax nudges Pomni*
Jax: Yo Pomni
*Pomni gets a little caught off guard*
Pomni: Huh?
Jax: Are you gonna eat your food or can I have it?
*Pomni sighs*
Pomni: Sure, I’m not in the mood for food anyway
*Pomni gets up from the table*
Pomni: I’m just gonna head to bed…
*As Pomni leaves, Jax opens his mouth really wide and finishes off everything on Pomni’s plate in one gulp. When Jax thinks she’s out of earshot, he finally speaks*
Jax: So how much longer before she realizes she’s doomed to stay in this game for all eternity?
Ragatha: Jax!
*Ragatha throws a piece of virtual food at Jax*
Jax: Well I’m right, aren’t I?
*Jax turns his head towards Caine, and Caine darts his eyes nervously*
Caine: Oh well uhh- would you look at the time? I have some- important matters to attend to. Good night everyone! Or- good morning, umm- bye!
*Caine leaves*
Jax: Well that was weird
*Ragatha facepalms. We cut to Pomni walking up to her door. Her hand reaches towards the doorknob, but she pauses. By her face, we can see she is uneasy and nervous to walk into her room. After a moment, she shakes her head, takes a breath, and finally opens the door. We can see it’s a black void at first, with one white pixel in the center. But after a few seconds, pixel by pixel, it starts transforming into an actual room. Or at least, as actual as a room can get in a virtual reality. There are yellow walls, a bright blue bed with dark blue sheets, a fuzzy round yellow carpet placed underneath the bed, and two red nightstands on either side with a framed picture on one of them. All the colors clash, and we can see Pomni grimace a bit as she walks inside and lays down on the bed and goes to sleep. We then see her dream. A young adult is seen crying on the curb on a rainy night. She then sees a young man extend his hand*
Man: You seem…overwhelmed. I can take you somewhere where you can get away from everything. What do you say?
*The word “say” echoes as we see Pomni turn in her bed. We then cut to another part of her dream where she is in a dark room with the mysterious man*
Young man: You remember the terms, right?
*The young woman nods. Around her we see other people wearing VR headsets. Above each of them is a screen that shows a certain number of days. “Day 12” “Day 17” “Day 4”. A headset lowers above the woman’s head. The man looks at someone next to him on a computer*
Man: Everything ready, Caine?
*Caine answers solemnly*
Caine: All set Aldrin…
*Aldrin nods at the young woman, and she puts on the headset. As soon as she does, we can hear a few seconds of pained screaming and groaning. The girl tries to take off the headset but her whole body is paralyzed. She can barely move. Caine looks away; eyes full of guilt, and Aldrin smirks*
Aldrin: Let the games begin…
*Pomni suddenly shouts and bolts out of bed. Her eyes are wide open and her breath staggers. She looks at her hands; they’re shaking*
Pomni: Caine and Aldrin. Caine and Aldrin. Caine and Aldrin
*She repeats this multiple times before finally calming down a little. She takes a deep breath and lies back down. She stares at the ceiling and fidgets with her fingers*
Pomni: He knows something…
*Pomni balls her hands into fists*

@@bonesnpink9428 yeah but he’s hiding things, he sounds nervous and lil fidgety when he was telling the others of him “making” something for the “other end” of the exit door. I suspect whoever it was that programmed him gave him LOTS of access & capabilities like creating rooms/food for the humans to accommodate them & access super far places not easy to navigate like the Void AND have means to notify him if the others are in restricted areas (again the Void). Caine prolly KNOWS who put the humans in the system in the first place and he can’t tell…

Jax is definitely a jerk with a heart. If he was truly a jerk, he would've left them there and saved himself, but he didn't; he did the complete opposite of that.
Most people think he threw the bowling ball at them "for no reason" or "because he thought it would've been funny" but he actually did that because he heard Kaufmo (the abstracted monster) and pushed them down the hole so they wouldn't get found (and possibly because he literally lied to them and told them Kaufmo was fine when he isn't fine).
Yep! I can see him getting a truck load of character development by the end of the series!

Neena if you don't know. Pomni went crazy after seeing that laptop because that was the very laptop that she connected the headset onto except Pomni is just a fragment of her actual human consciousness. The computer was her office desk back home and it reminded her about it which made her go crazy since she wanted to leave. The human Pomni actually was the one that got plugged to the headset and left while the machine scanned her personality so Pomni thinks she was a human.

The terrifying part about this isn't even just the Danger Of Abstraction, it's the fact that there is no REAL Exit. The reason there is no exit is because Caine doesn't understand it. Caine is an A.I Narrator & thinks everything has a concept. An Exit is a concept to Caine and he doesn't know how to execute it to satisfy the cast.

Fun fact: jax is actually a hero, and let me explain, when pomni interrupted the show aka the little intro where jax,kinger, and gangle was standing, when pomni crashed into jax, jax suddenly crashed to kinger which leaves gangle to get hit and broke her comedy mask, and she actually got mad, she was mad at pomni when jax steps in and saves the day, jax actually steps on gangle's comedy mask on purpose so gangle will mad at jax, and another time where kinger and gangle was looking at the big hole and jax came up running as u see in the show and then at this exact time where he did this to them ---> 13:52 it's where he actually tried to kept them safe so kaufmo won't make them glitch just like ragatha.

this is actually true: so have u seen where the other doors was? Like the bedroom, there is actually a dark theory about it! so when ragatha,pomni, and jax was walking towards kaufmo's bedroom door, u can actually see the others door have an "X" on there face! It's because they abstracted just like kaufmo, and they have been sent to the callar where the other abstracted character are, and there is actually queenine aka kingers wife and sadly she was abstracted and sent to the cellar.

When you really think about it jax is probably going to be the last, if not only one who doesn’t abstract. He seems perfectly sane at other people’s expense and hes already seem to got everything down. So technically speaking, jax is the smartest character so far
I don't think Kinger will be abstracting any time soon. He's nuts, but that makes it easier for him to disassociate and escape from his reality
