I’m a guitar player guy … 6 strings and all . I just got Soooo much good influence by this lesson . It’s all between the ears in in the soul … regardless of instrument choice . I’ll probably play 10 hours today (yes ,I’m single 😂). Love this information and mindset .

Hmm maybe I'm better than I thought I was. I'm halfway through this & haven't learned anything I haven't been doing for 20 yrs yet. Good tips for beginners though

Thanks for posting this Tyler. My focus is on tenor banjo but I definitely got some things from this video. I have to say, I was disappointed that you weren't teaching at Red Hot Strings this year. I was told they didn't have enough tenor banjo players for your classes. That is unfortunate. Maybe you can begin recruiting some players for next year so that you could return. If you do, you can count me in.

Which pick thickness does Tyler recommend for tenor guitar? Is this different for a flattop as opposed to the archtop he uses for this workshop?

Thanks for asking! I use a heavy pick for tenor guitar. I'm currently using the David Grisman 'Dawg" pick.
