With the series on the line, Johnathan Thurstons last game, Cronk and Captain Cameron Smiths Last Series. Smith Cronk and Thurston commanding the troops, swung the momentum around. Coming back scoring 2 tries to take the lead. To win and Force the series decider to be played at Suncorp. A Fairy tail farewell to some of the greats of the origin game. Cronk Smith, Thurston.
Truly marked the end of an Era
I have to say, over the years i've warmed to the 'guru' gus gould. Hes a top bloke for not allowing his emotions effect his commentating. He's the only blue youll ever hear speak in a match when qld are dominating. I know i couldnt do it. When nsw thrashed us by 50 or whatever it was, i wouldnt have even been there. Id be on my way home before the game had even finished. On ya gouldy
If you analyse the 2 tries in the 2nd half, 3 Blues players are to blame for this.

I remember this game well. Hayne bombs a try and doesn't pass to Morris when it were 16-6, it could have been potentially 22-6 and that would have made it very very difficult for Queensland to come back.

I still blame wade graham for over chasing on Morgan to allow that last try! That lost us the series
I blame Maloney, he got off the line to tackle slater(whom had already got the ball to Morgan) which created the gap for Morgan to flick it to Gagai to run into the gap.
And it wasn't Graham that over chased Morgan, it was Hayne.
As I was saying, all Maloney had to do was stay in the line and slide.
All though Wade Graham is to blame for giving away a penalty at the other end of the field from what was a great defensive set from the blues keep qld in their 20 on the 4th

I mean most fowards run at the line naturally as they do then slow down nowadays then there's some that run into the line full speed

From the biggest losing blues captain in history, should have been 12 after Josh Morrison's illegal tackle in the 9th game. I've never in 40 years seen a clown getting treated on the sideline make a tackle on the field 😅😅
