@@snuggz1813 What, that's crazy $500 for a glove compartment??? Check out my replacing the air filter video here ruclips.net/video/07UkxF0bWoo/видео.html that shows basically how to take the glove compartment off.. it's hinged at the bottom so it just slides out once it's in that fully open position. All you need to do is slide a credit card or something there to get it open.. or try to grab the broken part with some pliers or screw drive?? Once you have it open, remove the hinge on the side like in that video and pull it off. Call a scrap yard or buy new one on Ebay!!

I was trying to pry the damn thing from the outside then squeeze & pull from the inside only to realize you have to twist it and pull lol. The outside cover is now a little loose, hope no moisture gets in. 😅
I'm having soo much trouble with the lightbulb socket on mine. It seems to be like yours, which doesn't turn easily. I'll try your way next! So frustrating because all the videos make it seem like you just twist gently and the socket will come out!

No, use the proper bulb! Select your vehicle here to find the proper bulb: www.sylvania-automotive.com/bulb-finder.html for my 2014 Corolla the license plate bulb is a 168 bulb. Never use a higher wattage than the original bulb.
It's a 168 bulb, they don't provide a wattage, even on the package of the bulb. Check the video description, the very last link is a Non-LED 168 that is exactly like the one the car comes with.

Brakes are mostly covered in the caliper pin lubrication video.. Unfortunately I didn't actually push the piston back and change the pads and rotors though. Coolant flush is a good idea, thanks! I'm just working on light bulbs now.. this car has a total of 18 bulbs just on the outside, not counting interior bulbs or 3rd brake light which is a pain to get to.
You don't see "BRAKE" when you put the key to on (US Car)?.. Sometimes the ABS ECU goes bad and it would cause that code,.. other times it's just loose wiring somewhere, so probably one of the two is the problem. If you replace the ABS module, you probably need to re-program it as well, I'm not sure for this car, I only did it before on a Honda Accord, and I had to take it in for programming because the ABS light stayed on solid.
@@chewy739 Ohh yes turning it is a bit difficult, but it does turn.. just have to push on one side down and the other up at the same time.. and it just comes out all of a sudden. Not the greatest system how they shoved it in there.

It's definitely NOT gently, use both hands and turn one side with one hand the other side with the other hand.

@@chewy739 It's the same motion like unscrewing a screw.. You were turning it counter-clockwise and it wasn't coming out?
@@chewy739 Also you have to push right at the edge where it meets the clear plastic for leverage.. pushing more toward the middle won't get it out.
