Vermillion Flycatcher. Scientific name: Pyrocephalus rubinus, Brazilian name: Príncipe. Class: Birds, Order: Passeriformes, Family: Tyrannidae. Feeding: Insects caught in the air or on the ground. Geographical Distribution: Occurs throughout the Brazilian Territory, except for some States of the Regions: North and Northeast. It also occurs in Bolivia, Paraguay, Argentina and Uruguay. (It is a migratory bird: In winter, it migrates from the South and Southeast of Brazil to the Amazon and returns in spring-summer. It is usually found in pairs).
