I had a falling out with music years ago; I actively avoid lots of tunes. In july just past, my brother died. On his laptop spotify was, among older selections, a Lane 8 album. Now I listen to Lane 8.

I lost my brother to leukemia back in October 2020. We were 13 months apart, he was my best friend and it took him so unexpectedly as it was undiagnosed and ramped up in just a week. This track absolutely hit me like a truck in so many ways. I love and miss him so much. Thank you for making music that allows me to feel such profound emotions. I needed this

Wow randomly came across this song. My power went out so me and the dog jumped in the car to go charge a few things up in the car at a local parking lot. Just sitting here vibing to this song and it just hit me emotionally. No idea what it is or what I'm sad about. But this is just such a beautiful piece of music. It's been a tough year and just listening to this while me and my dog were just staring at each other really hit me hard. In a good way I think though. Haven't been struck by a song like this in ages. I think sometimes a guy you just bottle everything up all your life. Then sometimes there's a chink in the armor and you gotta let it out a bit. Sometimes that just happens at the most random of times. It's crazy the power music can have on us emotionally. It truly is an amazing art form.
