This is one of my favorite Rufus songs. It's an incredibly emotional song that brings chills every time I hear it. I just recently saw Rufus live in Chicago and when they played this song it was a very powerful moment. I saw them a day before I left for Peru in 2019. I would listen to this on repeat before I left for a 9 day trek - the Choquequirao Route - up to Machu Picchu. When I returned to my hostel, a private room for a change, I danced to this first. I couldn’t tell you if I had headphones or what but it was a life changing experience. I’m so lucky that I feel music on another level of consciousness. Thanks for taking me there.
