Embroidery Library Christmas Tree in the hoop ornament - Part 1, prep work and pre-cutting the felt for the design! If you don't have a cutter, Embroidery Library provides you with die lines for the front and back - you can print them out and then use them as templates for your felt!
I am going to agree with that! The SNC has changed my mind about pre-cutting fabric - I thought it was too much of a hassle just for one cut...but taking it from the machine to the cutter is easy and fast and I love it!!
so nice! yes, you could have made a test cut, the test shape can be moved to the place where your mat is covered with the felt. I just played with my cutter at the weekend first time. I would like to learn from you as much as possible. Keep doing your wonderful creations!
yes, i heard that you can move the test shape! I am still testing the limits of this machine, so i want to always let it do it's thing and see if it makes any mistakes. So far no mistakes. Awesome!
@@OMLembroidery until I started watching your applique videos, I had no clue what the cutters are for :) in my brain it was a worthless gadget only. Just to cut something... and yes, they are a must have in the embroidery room. You inspired me to wanting to have one. My first project is already created in PE Design 10, and is going to come alive soon.
Hi Sue. The little Test Cut shape can be placed anywhere on your mat - your choice. Use select button and with stylus or finger drag it to where you want it. HTHs. Love my SnC!
I am far too lazy to test cut anything, LOL and I am trusting that the SNC can figure it out - I am still testing it's limits :) . I didn't know you could move it, so thanks for that.
How do we do this in the Cricut Maker? I'm thinking I would need to send to usb and then transfer it to the Maker for print then cut. Or is there an easier way?

Thank you for watching and participating!
Great to know the Gudy Stic really works well on the felt!
yes, it helped keep the shape of the felt when removing from the mat. My first one didn't work very well without it! Highly recommended :)
