GREAT CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS , VIDEO'S MADE WITHOUT BLARING MUSIC DROWNING OUT WHAT THE SPEAKER IS SAYING . CLEAR VIDEO , NO JERKING OUT OF FOCUS CAMERA'S . GREAT JOB ! TWO THUMBS UP!! OTHERS COULD LEARN FROM YOUR WORK !
Thaks for this! Helped me see the Steering Zerks I was missing. Getting harder to steer every time I mow. Time saver too. Great you showed whats under those Front Covers. Thank you Sir!
@@PracticalPrimate I’m Handicapped on my left side, but was able to reach under and felt and cleaned the Zerk off. Got my Locking Fitting on and Pumped each 3 pumps. They looked so shiny dry like missed at Dealer! No wonder it was so hard to turn even with my Swivel Ball on Steering Wheel ! Now it’s like Greased Lightning!!
Thanks for the video ... I will soon be changing the oil filter so it will come in handy. They are great mowers - handle our hills and thick long weeds really well!
Very helpful video. But in the manual, the first 5hour service only need to change the engine oil, however, I watched you changed the oil filter in the same time.Is it necessory?
Whenever I change the oil in any machine I change the filter. That is standard practice. I would have to check the manual again to see if it says something different. Usually if any manual says to change the oil they also expect you to change the filter at that point.
Thanks for this video. Quick question. Have you ever tried to add the weight to the front of this model? I can’t seem to work out how it goes. And nothing online that I can see
How much weight and why? It is going to increase steering wear and incur risk. It would have to be front center (see 0:35 seconds) into the black frame below the Logo, basically like adding a trailer plate there. I think it is begging for trouble unless its a 10lb add or smaller
Hi Regina. It wouldn’t be too hard to modify something (see my blade change video for how it all works) but I believe this is the smallest cub cadet deck made for this frame. They do make a smaller ride on frame though with a smaller deck.
I have the same mower. Mine requested an oil change, so I just added to it instead of changing it. Now it will not start. It turns over so the battery is good. Do you know if there is a bypass or reset to make it start?
Hi Jeffrey The oil warning is for oil pressure. It will always show when ignition is on but the engine isn’t running (or when there is actually an oil pressure/low oil issue). Is it possible you saw the warning when the engine was off and now have too much oil?

Thank you for the kind words :)
That was so helpful as I too like to watch someone physically do it rather than read the manual- thankyou

Can you put a smaller deck on a zero turn
