When Jesus was born, an angel of the Lord appeared to the shepherds, telling them the Good News of the birth of Christ the Lord. In Luke 2:13-14, it says “and suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of heavenly host praising God and saying: ‘Glory to God in the highest, and peace to men with whom He is pleased.’”
