We have always loved Tommy, but it's definitely good to see him doing more "hands on" and learning the mechanical side of the business! Way to go, Tommy!!!
Ten year from now you will be so confident you will be making fun of other builder’s. Shout out to your family for helping you when they have there own problems.
I think your doin an outstanding job. U said it. Your happy that's where it's at buddy. If your not having fun then y are you doin it. Is wat I use to tell my boys. Think I'll start watching this channel a lil more
Bill you are the luckiest man in america 2 be able 2 work with your sons....l lost mine to drive byes and the streets....protect your boys by all means !!!!!!!!!
I love this video!! I enjoy the longer videos, and watching you and Allison continuing to learn and grow as you build both of your cars that can be driven on the street, but meant for the eighth mile. I truly enjoy seeing all the characters present and accounted for and working together, such a wonderful thing to see everyone sharing the same dream without the tension and nonsense before. To be able to witness the healing and growth of all of you is such a wonderful blessing as well as so encouraging for what is to come. Thomas, you and Allison truly make such a beautiful couple that sadly is rarely seen in today's world. The two of you very much remind of your grandparent as well as dad and Miss Vicki. Thank you for bringing us along on your adventures together. Much love and prayers, from upstate NY.🙏💜
HAHAHAHA "bill unfortunately ur trying to get blasted by my malbu" that was killer...now u have to make sure u beat him Tommy!!! just to never let him see the light of day to the end of those words
I definitely understand cleaning and making it as good as you can. It doesn't make it any faster. But it shows the pride you take in your work. Not just get it running. Being patient is hard to do....RESPECT🤘
Yah hey nice build it's not too long it's not too drawn out 30 minutes is just about unless you go live and we all like that you're in the home stretch
Looking good Tommy only thing I would have done unless you didn't film was locktight on brake brackets for the calipers but I'm really not hear to judge but look at Dad being impressed 😉 Good job 👍 PS: have Mark at A1 Auto get you a couple cans of self-etching primer to put on that bare metal rear end before you paint
Put a pair of vise grips on the bad nut or pipe wrench, put clamp on spring then cut off with a cut off wheel . More Hoist too also a pit would be good too
We're doing things the right way around here. 20 mins later, we're rounding these nuts 😅. Love the channel tommy and the truck is looking good bro. Thanks for the content
Awesome job Tommy. I’m working on a 95 S10 Blazer and watching you bring your truck back to life keeps me going on my projects. Your truck is turning out awesome!!!
I needed some center bolts (dowel pins) for my 56 BelAir springs so I could remove a leaf and and replace the sliders between the springs. No one within 40 miles could even order any. I had to get them from E-bay! I wish we had a good parts store like Y'all do.
Your post on fb made me remember that i hadnt gave this video a thumbs up and made a comment … so here goes … Buddy your truck looks like you got it coming along quite nicely Id use the carpet left over to lay on under your truck while your working on it … its way more comfortable than concrete … I cant wait to see it run so whatever it runs its gonna need to he fast you cant let me down !!!
Bill,,, I love your idea about having 1 Shop,, everyone has to go home 🏠. Be really nice to put a couple of small Cabins in the back. Behind your ramp of course 🙏. Be nice if All the Family stayed home ❓❓❓
My last drag car had leaf springs also and had a problem with shearing off those pins, So what I did was drill the hole out and used some ARP small block head bolts to bolt the housing to the springs, Never had another problem
Hey Tommy, you want to put both eyelet ends on that Caltrac bar before you install them onto the brackets. One of them is reverse threaded so it works like a turnbuckle. As you turn the bar, both eyelets move out and in (lengthening and shortening the entire unit as you turn it depending on the direction turned). Makes it a breeze to install once you do this.
Wtf....only 1 👍🏻 on this? Its a great comment dude. "I" was the 1 with the comment about how to apply RTV, but nobody cares if fluid leaks out around the studs on the center section to housing I guess. Lol
The Real Boss is so sweet! She doesn't even know that what she sang can burn a channel down!!! Fortunately anybody that walks has this channel is not in the least offended...
dude stop beating your self up kid ... you guys rock and we love it all
I love how you film for two channels and its two different styles. Pretty cool bro!
Where’s Krylon Kenny? “Cain’t mount a third member without corrosion protection….”
Exactly what I was thinking....
So dope to have a bro who welds! Plus a grumpy old man. Grumpy old men make things go fast

Ladder bars with leaves is pretty common, then those pins just float. Cal-tracs going in this.
@@NonTypicalRacing This one had slide a link bars from competition engineering
@@scotthazelton519 aaahh...those were nice.
