Appreciate your willingness to share some of your knowledge of accessible places for kayak and wade fishermen. More and more, the shore lines are becoming bought out and turned in to private property, making it harder to just have a place to park and wade out or have a place to launch. Thanks again and you've got a new subscriber!
My PB spec is a 26 that i caught years ago. I am trying to improve this year on my trout skills because I love catching them but i'm not very good at understanding when and where they feed but this video is amazing brother the fact that you actually explained how to catch them and where to go is something most people would never do. So thank you for sharing and you where rewarded with an awesome day for your kindness. I will be subscribing and following you from now on. I also fish the Galveston area so I look forward to learning more from you brother.
As a fellow that lives in Phoenix and only makes the trip to Texas about twice a year, I truly appreciate the locations. I am now subscribed to your find channel. Keep up the great work, and again thanks for the content.
I appreciate you showing the area. I'm up in Kingwood and get down to that area maybe once every two months. It always helps give perspective to the lay of the land before using that precious time just exploring. I primarily stick to chocolate bayou in the winter and the causeway to the jetties in the summer.
Very informative episode Nick! Don’t be afraid to share your fishing spots! I’ve been out at the gulf coast & the mass amounts of garbage left behind is & will take it’s toll on our future anglers! If you could get with your well known RUclips angler friend’s & find a way to get individual’s like myself out to do a weekend of cleaning up the gulf coast waters. It’s a travesty to see the waste ppl leave behind. I’ll give my time to help clean up the gulf!
Dang, that trout was a monster. Props to you for tossing that back. I used to wade that Sea Isle area as a kid. Saw one of the biggest stingrays in my life in that area too.
I wade fished that spot and it was the same result for me with the live shrimp around there. But hey, they say there are some nice biggins there! Watchf for all the gopher holes about 100 yards from the start of the walk.
i love wade fish all the locations yuh pinpointed just got my kayak and hoping to hit it again this weekend usually many holes some deep ones where the fish hide and many many stingrays when im their usually every weekendout theor at this exact spot
If you're catching and releasing, I suggest replacing the trbles on your hard lures to straight hooks. If they happen to swallow that treble just right, itll rip their throat out and just kill the fish. Unless you can get it out rather easily. You probably already know though. Good vid and that was an awesome trout.
Hate to say it but the Galveston bay complex is already way too packed with "fishermen" and now with 5k people in one day seeing this and likely flooding this area they'll probably fence it off like Indian beach and so many other spots but even if not it just means it's harder for anglers to find a place that isn't crowded or over fished. Enjoy the views.
Exactly. These youtubers giving away spots for likes and subscribers. No one wants to do the work to find their own fish anymore. Sadly its only getting worse with everyone wanting to be a you tube star these days.
All people like to fish and it’s exciting to see new ones out there learning and getting the chance to experience what we all have. You shouldn’t judge you tubers putting info out there for the ones that want to learn. Fishing is for everybody there’s plenty out there if your good enough to find them. Fishing is not all success either they will probably go out there and not be as lucky or skilled by that fact. Let people enjoy what they love to do and not criticize. Everyone acts like this water belongs to them or something. I been to plenty of places that close down or make it private we just go on and look for a better or different spot. My only complaint is trash of coarse. These fish do not deserve it. Keep em tight and may God Bless us all for having the opportunity to fish !!
Has it changed since your video 4 months ago? My trip there this week netted 50 signs everywhere stating residents & guests only or towed. I did not want to chance it as I respect their community of course, just curious if you winged it and knew it'd be ok or whether or not it changed. It was disappointing, maybe I can find another cool spot in that area that's legal & safe from vehicle thieves. They have chains across the ramps that require a resident key. I realize I could slip through easily enough, but that's not that point.

Sea Isle Pier and ramps are for residents only FYI. They’ll run you outa there quick. Our family has owned a house on Panola for 20+ years. And the neighborhood has to be strict because random morons come down and treat the neighborhood like a public boat ramp / trash can.
That cut you got the first speck in has produced so many good fish for me over the years.
When you share with others you get blessed in return. That was a beautiful day of fishing . Thanks for the vid.

Great area for flounder. Caught a couple 20"+ last trip.
Outstanding angler skills out there Nick. I greatly appreciate the mix of technique.
Snake Island was my go to spot before Sunset Cove was there. Great place to catch trout and flounder.
does that channel run from sunset cove out to the bay? I can kind of see it on google maps but wanted to ask.

Yeah, that really pisses me off when people leave their garbage and spoil it for others and don't leave old fishing line because it kills the birds!
you produce great content, thank you I truly appreciate the maps

That is why I do the Texas slide in the water. I met someone in Port Mansfield that had his Achilles tendon severed by one3 of those devils!
Thank you for sharing this location I will have to try it out. Great Video!

One point--that dark spot ya wanna avoid on the shrimp's head is it's brain, not it's heart. Hella fish, Nick. Well done.
Thank you for sharing the info man it means a lot I live in Galveston
Nice monster trout looks like you had a great day fishing

Awesome vid!
You think it would be possible to like up and fish sometime. I just got a kayak and am very new to Galveston. I think it would be fun
Great day
Love your content bro!
Would you say the trout are moving out to the reefs? Sea isle still being jerks about the boat ramp?
Thank you, cool video. And thanks for the techniques.
Nice trout! Are you registered for the STAR tournament?
So you launch you kayak over the rocks or did you launch from the somewhere else
There’s some MASSIVE Reds that push the finger mullet into the grass
Looking at the map- where would you park to wade out there? The pier parking lot?
same thing i was wondering
Great video and new spot I need to check out.
Good Stuff RX!! Keep it coming. #PomexFishing
Nick, when you dip the fish in the water after taking the hook out. What does that do ?
More topwater!!! 🤙🏻
This has been up on RUclips for a while, can you tell me where you launched your kayak from?
Thanks for the vid!
Awesome video!!
Is it better to use a treble hook or jay hook when using live shrimp

Just because the fish are they one day doesn't mean they will be there the next day. Leave Nick alone and appreciate his tips.
@@lazymugfor real. These guys are getting free spots of gold and they're complaining the ENTIRE time. Good god
great place to fish
Hey RX, were you "walking the dog" with that top water on that first trout ? Great video !
I stepped on a stingray fishing over there back in July. Be careful!
I like that spot too
Thank you
He really pulled a 26 out of sea isle🤯
I sure appreciate ya bro.
Whats the name of that bait camp where you bought the shrimp?
I now the people that work there I use to fish there all the time
How much Mbps download/upload speed do I need at home to watch your videos in 4K? My TV always blurred after 1080. Any suggestions?
You're videos are excellent. Have you ever been approached by a TPWD game warden?
What setup is the spinning rod and reel you were using?
Where you get that bait cooler with the net in it??
Nice hog!!
Awesome thanks teach
Be careful Lots of stingrays, wade fishing is tuff due to the stingrays and jellyfish. Also had better luck fishing the surf in that area.
Lol my house is on the bay in that neighborhood!
What month were you fishing here?
enjoyed
What kind of kayak do you use?

What day was you there bc i was there this Friday
Did you catch that second nice trout on an empty hook?
Which Engel live Bait cooler is that? 13 or 19qt
How deep is the water over there?
Can you show the direction how to go there. Thanks
GATOR TROUT!!!
What top water is that ?
Can I launch my jon boat at sea isle pier ?
🔥
Too fishy my brotha! 😂

Is that a private pier/launch for Sea Isle residents?
Yes you have to be a resident the get access to the pier. But its public to park and launch.
Thomas Bruhn the launch has a chain.
Never mind,,,,I see now
That first spec was not fat hanging over ur hands was most likely her eggs
