I picked up an 02 back in May for 7k with 135k miles and it's been absolutely perfect so far, I can't name a better bang for your buck car on the market period!
Sounds great! I just picked up a 2004 BMW 645Ci 4.4 V8 with 129k on the clock, amazing condition and spec for £4k!! Plus came with a V8 custom plate! There's some mad bargains out there 👍
Is it actually reliable? And how are parts you know how German cars are on this side of the continents in the west are they truly worth it cus I'm looking at one rn
I'm in my estate C32 3 years as my daily driver. Have loved it so far, been totally reliable and only had 1 issue that made me worry which was w203 platform issue not AMG related so fixed at home. Rips along when you want but cruises effortlessly most of the time. Doesn't get any attention either way which I love! Tipped over 100k so sorting underside and full suspension this month. These are great, rare and understated cars. Good video boys. And the owner has done a cracking job underneath!!
It definitely needs a LSD as open diff isy main issue. Even the box is fine once you work with it. Quafe diff is my target this year funds allowing. Completely sorts the car and even improves 0-60 times due to the increased traction. Best mod for these I can find.
I own a 03 c 32 T . The first thing i do was ,to put a c 180 emblem on my trunk . This car is so much fun to drive and mine had no electric probs. It makes me happy every time i am driving it but i know, it makes some people feeling very bad. Like the cayman S driver last week . I hope he felt better now and i hope in the meantime, his pillow is dry when he wakes up . Great video guys , greetings from germany.
I had a C32 AMG estate for a couple of years and I absolutely loved it. I sold it for a CLS55 AMG and yes that is soo much faster having been tuned to over 600bhp but the little C32 was much more fun to drive. You could throw it into corners and it would always put a smile on my face. The CLS will probably go around the corners faster but god it doesn't feel right doing it. The CLS is a straight line monster whereas the C32 is a good all-rounder
Great car! I had mine for almost 4 years now, and have done every bolt on modification there is from NeedsWings. I can truly recommend both the manifolds and intake manifolds. It just becomes a whole other car when these are added. The bottom end torque is relentless :)
There really are great cars! Kenny & I were both generally surprised by it. We were both expecting a lazy, numb drive, but it was quite the opposite; very eager & playful...and the noise 🤤 Thank you for watching! - Drew
My SLK32 is coming up on 100k miles. I got it with 85k miles and did a needswings cold air, secondary cat delete, and v tech tune. Im scared to do more serious upgrades such as a pulley. Yours has been reliable with FBO for years?
I bought this car five years ago in really bad shape but I restore him and he shining again. Great and still cheap car to drive and have fun with. Buy him if you can because one day will be expensive I think.
I think a lot of them have been neglected over the years, it is hard to find a good one. If I had the money I would buy this one! This car really surprised the both of us! A fun muscle car AND a comfy cruiser, what more could you want! Thank you for watching! - Drew
I've owned the c32 and still own a clk55. These guys don't know what they're saying. The V8 is a monster and in the higher revs it's relentless in acceleration. Definitely not a lazy engine. Real AMG owners k is your car learns the way you drive. If you drive slowly all the time, it becomes "heavier". Mine is agitated cos I'm heavy with my right foot. Ask any e92
@yusufjoosub6934 as I've driven both, I just found the V8 in the CLK55 had great mid range, but lacked in the top end. The V8 in the E92 is a very different design. The E92 V8 has ITBs & redlines at 8,400RPM. It was designed to be a track weapon, where as the CLK55 was designed to be an autobahn cruiser. I just personally felt that the supercharged V6 in the C32 (granted, with its modifications) felt more Alice than the V8.
Had one of these until about 10 years ago. Did have its issues. Rusted around the wheel arches and electrical faults. Id forgive it all that though it's probably the car ive most enjoyed owning.
Seem to be common weak points in fairness. Ian owned his a while, and he would completely agree with you! They are fantastic cars! We get to drive a lot of cars, and this one surprised us! Thank you for watching! - Drew
I actually picked one up a few weeks ago and generally in good condition. Looking forward to bring it up to snuff (power steering leak) then start modding it. It feels super comfy
Congratulations! They really are great cars. I wasn't expecting too much as it wasn't a V8 AMG, but boy was I wrong! They are comfy when needed, then very quick when needed! Thank you for watching! - Drew
I wouldn’t say it’s forgotten. Most people don’t know about this car in general. Also most people want a V8. But I agree this C32 is a mean machine. Especially for the price. It can EASILY keep up with modern sports cars. With the right tune it does over 300 km/h as well. Unfortunately most C32 here in Germany are station wagons not limousines.
You are absolutely right! When people think AMG, they think V8. I wasn't expecting much from the C32, but it really wowed us! I think the station wagons may be even cooler! All that perfomance with the practicality too! Thank you for watching! - Drew
Has Ian sold it? I’m looking for one of these, used to work for Mercedes when these were just a couple of years old and drove one then. Have wanted one ever since!
Yes, it sold rather quickly after video went live lol I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting too much from it, but boy was I wrong! Such an underrated car! - Drew

I have an ‘02 model down in Australia, stock 125K km. I can relate to the electrical gremlins….. they just keep on popping up😂. But it always puts a smile on my dial
Wow, that's interesting hearing a view from the other side of the world! Ian said the majority of the gremlins are caused by the degradation of the wiring loom (big weakness apparently) He's the same, it was a nightmare on times, but he LOVES it! Thank you for watching! - Drew
I've been playing with a few E55 AMG V8 supercharged, separating the and upgrading the intercooler cooling radiators, VRP intakes and 9 6mm throttle body and smaller super charger gear with belt rap fit and a tune and these things are really rapid (The 2 105mm throttle bodies that we have used both failed)

where did you get your dual cold air intake??
Lovely car,thanks for the video.

The W212 generation E-class shares a very similar front suspension to these W203 C-classes.
I’ve got a Chrysler Crossfire SRT6.
Pretty sure it has the same engine. Am I correct? Great engine. Love the supercharger ‘whine’.
Yes, same as the SRT6 Crossfire.
