  • Blood on the Tracks is a masterpiece by Bob Dylan. But what is the best pressing? I have compared a first Dutch (1975) pressing with the 33 RPM Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab and a first US (1975) pressing and to the 45 RPM MFSL One Step!

You're absolutely right, I'd just add the UK first press is a fantastic sounding pressing too, probably a little more dynamic than the US first press. To me the MOFI one step is superb, In was lucky enough to get one at a reasonable price in 2019 (£120) and it is my favourite. Anyone wanting a great cheap pressing of Blood on the Tracks should check out the DeAgostini Dylan collection pressing from a couple of years ago, there are few quite cheap on eBay, that's also a real great sounding record for not much money.

After looking really hard I was able to find the one step for a reasonable price - haven’t listened to it yet but can’t wait!

I’m curious what you think when you’ve played it.

@@top5records796 I was lucky enough to find a near mint US White Label Promo of "Blood On The Tracks" and it blows most standard copies away.
