I love Steve Lawson, however he is wrong on every level when he claims that men will be submerged in lava and fire. Luke 16 tells the opposite of that. The fool in Hell is having a conversation with Abraham and Lazarus and makes absolutely no claim of being on fire. He is perhaps surrounded by fire that is producing a very uncomfortable environment but he is definitely not burning. Hell is sin unrestrained. It is absolute sorrow and regret, it is remorse and loneliness. It is hate and longing. It is where all the lust of the flesh are unsatisfied. It is a place of jealousy and resentment, of self reflection and anguish. It is a place where no satisfaction can be obtained and no rest is possible. It is torment not torture, it is inward agony and spiritual death and despair. A place of hunger and thirst, where caves of sulfur and ash are your shelters and where your tears have no salt and your sweat is like sand. No compassion, no love, no kindness, no sympathy or mercy, no hope and no joy, no friendship or peace, no ceasing and no end.

As born again Christians we believe the bible…which is all true word to word cover to cover or none of its true so because we believe it’s true we take Jesus Christ at his word who states time and time again in the bible there is a place of damnation in a lake of fire and brimstone for every single lost soul without god who rejects him and dies in there sin. The bible say the wages of sin are death.
