My favorite is Xenoverse 2 My favorite thing is the customization no question. I love making so many pop culture characters from Revy From Black Lagoon to Super Garlic Jr. From The Dead Zone Movie. I also love how you can create a type of moveset for your character like a gunslinger moveset for Revy since she is a gun user in Black Lagoon.
For me: - Budokai 1 = first game with in-depth what-ifs and humor to them. - Budokai 2 = first game with more fully anime/cartoony look both models and stages. - Budokai 3 = for the planet explosions, playing villain stories, Kid Uub and OG music. - Shin Budokai = refining the Budokai engine with real-time ultimate attacks. - Burst Limit = keeping SB engine, cel-shaded backgrounds. very smooth gameplay. - IW: The better AI that cancel, fixing the infamous tray system and GT characters. - Tenkaichi 1 = the intro with the meme, and the fire beat. - Tenkaichi 2 = Giant ass beams, and Storymode custom character system. - Tenkaichi 3 = Improving attack and the first game, trying to be anime accurate. - Tenkaichi 2 & 3 = having funny pop-culture references in some dialogue. - Tenkaichi as a whole = First series to make Oozaru and obscure characters playable. - Budokai & Tenkaichi as a whole = the more vibrant menu screens.
Super Dragon Ball Z is really sick especially the competitive scene. They also went for manga accurate colors / design which is rarely done by other games.
I've played and enjoyed most Dragonball games throughout my lifetime and always find myself always going back to the Legacy Of Goku trilogy once a year, even the first one 😂 even the worst DB games have some good in them, such as Final Bout giving me Steve Blum as THE FIRST ENGLISH DUB Goku and Trunks being voiced by Skip Stellrecht, who voices Might Guy in Naruto
I wish Burst Limit could have gotten a sequel or updates like games get now. All it needed was to make drama pieces skippable (optional), more characters from Budokai 1 and maybe movies up to Broly, and making the HUD smaller or covering less of the screen. But its gameplay still holds up as on par with Infinite World for me. Visually its just nice to look at (until FighterZ.)
First DB game was Ultimate Tenkaichi. Best thing about that game had to be the music. TS WAS TOO FIREEEE Also agree with your about raging blast 1 having the best shaders. That game looks great lmao
Guy do you not remember budokai 1 showed more gore like when piccolo does his sbc attack and you can literally see the whole with proper blood effect on raditz and goku
Back in the days, I switched from playing BTS2 with the primary school gang to playing BTS3 alone, and the switch took a while to adapt to. I felt like BTS 2 was better as a kid
My first ever dragon ball game was tenkaichi 1, and the 2nd was raging blast 1. I also strongly disagree with what u said about raging blast 2 in the video. I very much love the shaders for raging blast 1. However, raging blast 2 just looked better to me. I enjoy how everything popped out and had more life to it, but not too realistic like jumpforce or zenkai battle royale were, I also enjoyed how raging blast 2 proceeded to keep in the snap mechanics and stuff in the game, meanwhile making everything feel smooth and look cooler.
Best dvz game is still bt3 by far, with sparking zero underneath it, followed by bt2 then budokai 3. I think that sparking zero 2 will end up being the best overall.
I'm ngl I actually enjoyed it when I first played it back in 2010I didn't like it because I didn't understand the battle system ( because i didn't read how to play) but I stopped playing then came back to give it another chance I'm not sure what happened but something clicked and I finaly realize ld that the battle system is basically a rock,paper scissors type thing once I realized that and also found out how to properly counter against supers I stared winning almost every battle with ease. I had alot of fun with the story, there was one fight that had younger me in tears and it was omega shenron on the side story where you make a character I remember he beat my ass so many times I nearly broke my controller but I managed to beat him overall I enjoyed the game and even replayed the story alot I'd rate it a 7/10.
For me I love to much in fighters so I'm just gonna say super Vegeta big bang attack baseku kaioken x3 and 100X BIG BANG KAMEHAMEHAAAAAA Or any game with gt goku
Its not my favorite but years ago when i was in middle school i was able to play dbz super sonic warriors and db advanced on android idk how but back in the day they were on the playstore but i love both of those games i didnt complete super sonic warriors but i loved the gameplay and i played all of db advanced it was pretty good for a gameboy game was pretty fun and challenging at times.

I was disappointed by sparking idk it just didn’t hit after playing that I popped in tenki 3 and instantly fell back In love with the series
